<p>PRINCE FREDERICK, MD. Maryland State Police report that on 3/24/15 at 6:16 pm, Trooper First Class Wiesemann responded to the Walmart parking lot following a call from a concerned citizen reporting an unconscious person sitting in a vehicle in the parking lot. Upon arrival, TFC Wiesemann was unable to locate the vehicle/driver. Shortly thereafter, TFC Esnes, off duty at the time, located the vehicle traveling on Rt. 4 near Sixes Rd. He stopped the vehicle for traffic violations. TFC Wiesemann responded and Philip R. Laughhunn, 30, of Port Republic, was arrested for DUI. The search incident to the arrest located both Methadone and Suboxone in the vehicle for which Laughhunn did not have a prescription. Laughhunn was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.</p>

<p>PRINCE FREDERICK, MD. – Some folks just don’t get it about driving and doing drugs. Police report that on 3/25/15 @ 2:08 am, Sr. Trooper Dawson stopped a vehicle on Rt. 4 near Fox Run Blvd. in Prince Frederick for traffic violations. Upon exiting the vehicle as requested, a strong odor of burnt marijuana was noted. A probable cause search revealed both marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Brittany T. Revis, 22 of Lexington Park, was issued civil citation for possession of less than 10 grams of marijuana and was released.</p>

<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Pot was icing on the cake for Isaac E. Weems</strong></span></strong></p>
<p>LUSBY, MD. – Maryland State Police report that on 3/25/15 at 1:52 am, Trooper Megelick responded to the 11000 block of George St. in Lusby reference to a follow-up on an earlier traffic stop. While at the residence, Isaac E. Weems, 23 of Lusby, was located and arrested on an open bench warrant and was taken to the Calvert County Detention Center for processing. During a secondary search, less than 10 grams of marijuana was located. He was additionally charged with possession of marijuana.</p>

<p>PRINCE FREDERICK, MD. – Who needs a driver’s permit? They let illegal aliens have them so why should legal residents bother? That may explain why an alleged pot-packer didn’t have a drivers permit. On 3/25/15 at 11:40 am, Trooper First Class Esnes stopped a vehicle on Church St. in Prince Frederick for traffic violations.</p>
<p>Zachary R. Pino, 25 of Prince Frederick, was arrested for driving on a suspended license. A secondary search revealed less than 10 grams of marijuana. Pino was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center and also received a civil citation for the marijuana possession.</p>

<p>HUNTINGTOWN, MD. &#8212; Driving while smoking dope is, well, dopey. This alleged doper had a car full of pot smoke when a trooper stopped him for dopey driving. Police say that on 3/26/15 @ 5:50 pm, Trooper First Class Newcomer stopped a vehicle on Cox Rd. near Joy Lee Dr. in Huntingtown for traffic violations. A strong odor of marijuana was emitting from inside the vehicle. The driver, Kevin D. Sauer, 20 of Crofton, was arrested for possession <strong><em><strong>over</strong></em></strong> 10 grams of marijuana. He was <strong>incarcerated </strong>at the Calvert County Detention Center. Passenger, Trevor D. Frissell, 21 of Edgewater, was found to be in possession of <strong><em><strong>less</strong></em></strong> than 10 grams of marijuana. He received the appropriate civil citation and was released.</p>
<h4><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Wedding will be forking over bucks for dopey driving</strong></span></strong></h4>
<p>LUSBY, MD. – Maryland State Police report that on 3/30/15 at 12:29 am, Trooper First Class Wiesemann stopped a vehicle on Olivet Rd. in Lusby for traffic violations. The odor of burnt marijuana was detected emitting from inside the vehicle. The driver, Rebecca R. Wedding, 28 of Huntingtown, and passenger, Joshua M. Parker, 25 of Lusby, were both found to be in possession of less than 10 grams of marijuana. They were issued the appropriate civil citations and were released.</p>
