<p>WOODBRIDGE, VA. &#8212; A woman who was taken to a hospital to be checked for a complaint of pain became a real pain to police as they searched in vain for the woman in pain.</p>
<p>After a day she turned up. Theresa Elaine BROWN, 24, the escaped prisoner was taken into custody without incident at the Dumfries Plaza Shopping Center, say police.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.the-chesapeake.com//wp-content/uploads/2014/11/Prince-William-County-Police-Beat1.jpg"><img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-6770" src="https://www.the-chesapeake.com//wp-content/uploads/2014/11/Prince-William-County-Police-Beat1-300x171.jpg" alt="Prince William County Police Beat" width="300" height="171" /></a>Prince William County Police report that on February 12th at 11:16PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 15500 block of Traverser Ct in Woodbridge, Va., for a warrant service. Once at the residence, officers made contact with the accused who was wanted on multiple failure to appear and probation charges.</p>
<p>The accused was arrested without incident. While in custody, the accused complained of pain and was subsequently transported to Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center, located at 2300 Opitz Blvd, for evaluation. While at the hospital, the suspect accessed a private hallway from her room and was able to escape from the facility. No force was used in the escape and the suspect is not considered violent. A police K-9 and helicopter assistance from Fairfax County police were used to search for the accused.</p>
<h3>Heathen slashed at store clerk when stopped with load of stolen TVs</h3>
<p>DUMFRIES, VA. – Prince William Police report that on February 12th at 8:39PM, officers responded to the Walmart located at 17041 Jefferson Davis Hwy in Dumfries, Va., to investigate a shoplifter. The investigation revealed that an unknown man entered the store and went to the electronics area where he was seen loading two televisions, valued around $400, in a shopping cart. The man then went to the clothing area of the store where he proceeded to cut off the security devices from the televisions. As the man went to leave the store, an employee attempted to stop him by grabbing ahold of the cart and asking for a receipt. At that point, the man pulled out a pair of scissors and attempted to stab the employee in the hand. No contact was made and no injuries were reported. The suspect was last seen getting into a black, Toyota RAV4 and leaving the area.</p>

<p>Black male, between 40 &; 50 years of age, 6’1”, 200lbs with a medium build, medium complexion, black hair and brown eyes. Last seen wearing a brown leather jacket, khakis pants, black hat and glasses</p>
<h3>Kid cased the joint but didn’t change his clothes before robbing store</h3>
<p>GAINESVILLE, VA. – Too bad for this kid that he didn’t want to stay in school and learn something.</p>
<p>As it is, he likely going to be charged as an adult for committing an armed robbery and gain a degree in criminology at the state prison. Police in Prince William County report that on February 12th at 3:09PM, officers responded to the 7-11 located at 7615 Heritage Village Plaza in Gainesville, Va., to investigate a robbery. Employees reported to police that an unknown, masked man entered the store and approached the counter. Once at the counter, the man displayed a handgun and demanded money.</p>
<p>The man fled the business with an undisclosed amount of money. No injuries were reported. During the investigation, a clerk reportedly saw a man, without a mask, wearing the same clothing shortly before the robbery. Surveillance footage was obtained and investigators were able to develop a possibly identity of the suspect as a male juvenile who lived in the area.</p>
<p>Detectives from the Robbery Unit made contact with this suspect at his residence. A search warrant was subsequently obtained and executed at the home. As a result, evidence from the incident was recovered. Following the investigation, the juvenile suspect was arrested.</p>
