‘Bank Robber in Hyattsville not too busy robbing bank to take a call on his cell phone
HYATTSVILLE, MD. Prince Georges County Police have a message for this bank robber: “Hang up and call us next”.
Police report that: “We’re looking for this bank robbery suspect. He robbed a branch in the 8200 block of Annapolis Road in Hyattsville on January 24, 2015, at about 2:40 pm. The suspect passed a note demanding cash. The teller complied. The suspect took the money and walked out. If you know his identity, please call our detectives at 301-772-4905. No ‘Cops on the Rooftop’ at this donut shop
HANOVER, MD. — Anne Arundel County Police report that on January 26, 2015, at approximately 12:48 a.m., officers from Western District responded to the Dunkin’ Donuts located in the 1300 block of Ashton Road in Hanover for a robbery of the business.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with the store employees, who reported that two male suspects entered the business. One suspect displayed a handgun and the other suspect produced a white plastic bag. The suspects demanded money, took an undisclosed amount of money from the registers and ran from the store towards Ashton road. The victims observed the emergency flashers of a car parked on Ashton road. The suspects entered the vehicle and drove from the area towards Dorsey road. Several officers responded and canvassed the area, but were unable to locate the suspects.
Suspects: Two black males with medium builds, dressed in all black clothing, wearing black ski masks and black gloves
Bank Robbery Suspect
RIVERDALE, MD. PG Police also report another bank robbery as criminals like to do their banking in person and with often with a gun. This suspect who robbed a bank in the 4400 block of East West Highway in Riverdale. On January 24, 2015, at about 1:55 pm, he approached a teller and demanded cash. He pulled out a gun and robbed a discount store in the 6600 block of Marlboro Pike in District Heights on January 23, 2015, shortly before 10:00 pm. WHITE OAK, MD. — PG Police say that: “We know what he looks like, now we need his name. Investigators are working to identify the man in the dark jacket in these photos. Convenience Store Robbery
BELTSVILLE, MD. Prince Georges Police note that this suspect targeted a convenience store in the 5000 block of Garrett Avenue in Beltsville. At about 10:45 pm on January 22, 2015, he walked into the store and demanded money. Once he got cash, he ran from the store toward Baltimore Avenue. CAPITOL HEIGHTS, MD. — Robbery Unit detectives are also working to identify this suspect. He targeted a convenience store in the 7000 block of Central Avenue in Capitol Heights around 10:15 pm on January 27, 2015.
