MURDER USA: True Happiness on Happiness Place is when home invaders get plugged
NEWPORT NEWS, VA. — Two men who police say forced their way into a residence on Happiness Place came to their happy ending when they were shot to death by the resident.
Police in Newport News, Va., report that about 11:30 P.M. Wednesday, January 14, 2015, Police Communications received a call of a shooting with two victims in the 400 block of Happiness Place.
Newport News Police state that when officers arrived they found two adult males inside the residence suffering from what appeared to be gunshot wounds. Both victims were pronounced deceased at the scene by medics.
The initial investigation by police determined by interviews with those in the home that the two dead men had forced their way into the apartment and a fight began resulting in the two invaders being shot to death.
Police say that all of those involved were acquainted with each other.
Police also report that a four-year-old boy was present to observe the fight to the death.
Police say that the residents of the apartment were a man and a woman, both of Newport News.
The home invaders who were killed were identified as Tolanda Kristian Harris, 38, of Luther Road in Yorktown and Jon’te Manor, 29, of Nelson Drive in Newport News.
Police say that while the case is under investigation no one has been charged with a crime and they are not looking for any suspects.
