Fredericksburg Police Beat: police seek black male wearing hoodie who held up cabbie at gunpoint

VA&period; – Fredericksburg Police report that a cab driver was held up by a man wearing a hoodie and armed with gun&period; The robbery took place at the 7- Eleven&comma; 905 Lafayette Blvd&comma; on 12&sol;17 at 4&colon;45 a&period;m&period;  A cab driver reported that he was parked in the lot when a male subject approached his driver’s side window and asked him if he was available for a fare&period;  When the driver said yes&comma; the suspect reached in through the window and pointed a handgun at the driver&comma; demanding his cash and cell phone&period;  The driver complied and the suspect fled from the area on foot&period;  The driver then ran inside the 7-Eleven and called 911&period;  The suspect was described as a tall black male over 6’2”&comma; approximately 250 pounds&comma; and in his early to mid30’s&period;  He was clean shaven and was wearing a white sweatshirt with a gray hood pulled over his head&comma; dark gray shorts&comma; and white shoes&period;  Multiple officers&comma; including a K-9 unit called to the scene&comma; searched the area extensively but were unable to locate the suspect&period;  The investigation is ongoing&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<h1>It’s time to get the mud out so the women can wrestle&excl;<&sol;h1>&NewLine;<p>FREDERICKSBURG&comma; VA&period; 800 Forest Village&comma; 12&sol;16 9&colon;30 p&period;m&period;  A 19-year-old female reported that she was assaulted by four other females in the parking lot&comma; one of whom was armed with a knife&period;  The fight reportedly stemmed from a dispute over the purchase of a cell phone&period;  The suspects have been identified and the investigation is ongoing&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<h1>Car Burglars<&sol;h1>&NewLine;<p>200 block Wilderness Ln&comma; 12&sol;13 – 12&sol;16 8&colon;00 a&period;m&period;  A resident reported that an unknown person stole a firearm and computer tablet from his unlocked vehicle&period;  No suspects or witnesses at this time&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>ARRESTS&colon;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Raymond Morgan&comma; 34&comma; of Stafford was arrested on a charge of shoplifting&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Maria Rojas&comma; 27&comma; of Springfield was arrested on a warrant from Fairfax charging her with possession of narcotics&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Jody Scobie&comma; 43&comma; of Springfield was arrested on a charge of providing false identification to law enforcement to avoid arrest and on multiple warrants from Shenandoah and Rockingham Counties charging him with probation violation&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Daniel Runnels&comma; 31&comma; of Fredericksburg was arrested on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of stolen property and on warrants from Stafford County charging him with forgery&comma; possession of stolen property&comma; identity theft&comma; and other charges&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Bruce Courtney&comma; 55&comma; of Bowling Green was arrested on warrants from the Virginia State Police charging him with multiple counts of distribution of schedule I&comma;II narcotics and possession of a firearm while distributing narcotics&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Markieth Hunter&comma; 49&comma; of King George was arrested on a charge of possession of schedule I&comma;II narc Fredericksburg police briefs and arrests for Dec&period; 16&comma; 2014&colon;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>1600 block Lafayette Blvd&comma; 12&sol;12 – 12&sol;15 9&colon;00 a&period;m&period;  A supervisor reported that an unknown person stole a license plate from a van owned by RACSB&period;  No suspects or witnesses at this time&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Kohls&comma; 1571 Carl D Silver Pkwy&comma; 12&sol;15 10&colon;00 p&period;m&period;  A customer reported that an unknown person smashed a window on his vehicle and stole two deposit bags full of cash and other items of value from inside the car&period;  No suspects or witnesses at this time&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>VANDALISM&colon;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Old Mill Park&comma; 2200 Caroline St&comma; 12&sol;14 – 12&sol;15 7&colon;00 a&period;m&period;  A city employee reported that an unknown person damaged the landscaping around the entrance to the park&period;  The investigation is ongoing&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>2000 block Hilton Dr&comma; 12&sol;14 – 12&sol;15 9&colon;30 a&period;m&period;  A resident reported that an unknown person scratched and damaged his vehicle&period;  No suspects or witnesses at this time&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>ARRESTS&colon;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Briana Williams&comma; 18&comma; of Falls Church was arrested on a charge of indecent exposure and released on a summons&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Ryan Newbraugh&comma; 18&comma; of Spotsylvania was arrested on a charge of indecent exposure and released on a summons&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Stuart Haga&comma; 30&comma; of no fixed address was arrested on charges of felony shoplifting and possession of heroin&comma; as well as on multiple charges from Stafford County charging him with shoplifting&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>Jason Pratt&comma; 32&comma; of Fredericksburg was arrested on charges of domestic assault and battery and simple assault&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>otics&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>&nbsp&semi;<&sol;p>&NewLine;
