LEONARDTOWN, MD. (Sept. 26, 2014) St. Mary’s Sheriff’s Narco Squad Commander Capt. Daniel Alioto reports the following persons were arrested and charged on a variety of drug raps:
Frederick Kevin Bunter, 54, of Lexington Park, was identified as a distributor of heroin in the Lexington Park area. A search and seizure warrant was obtained and executed on his home. A search of the home revealed heroin, marijuana and related paraphernalia. Additional charges are pending a review with State’s Attorney Richard D. Fritz.
Joseph Aloysius Toney, 33, of California, Md., was indicted and charged with “Possession of a Firearm by a Prohibited Person” and “Possession of Cocaine”.
Undercover detectives observed Kendra Leann Armold, 27, of Ridge, Md., distribute “Oxycodone” to another person. Suspect Armold was indicted and is currently awaiting arraignment in the Circuit Court.
Armold was charged with possession of drugs on April 25, 2013 but the charges were dropped by St. Mary’s States Attorney Richard Fritz on June 27, 2013. Armold was represented by two Public Defenders, Michael Morgan and Gerald J. Riviello (at the expense of the taxpayers) and had been arrested by St. Mary’s Sheriff’s Deputy M. A. Labanowski. Ironically, while States Attorney Fritz was busy indicting Armold on drug charges on Sept. 10th, on Sept. 24, 2014 Fritz dropped charges of driving while suspended which had been placed against her on July 1, 2014 at 2:15 am by Maryland State Trooper Ditoto. The new distribution charge was placed against Armold by Deputy Labanowski, the same officer who had busted her in 2013.
Detectives identified Krystie Nicole Fluery, 37, of Hollywood, Md., as a distributor of “oxycodone.” Detectives conducted undercover purchases of “Oxycodone” which led to suspect Fluery being indicted by the St. Mary’s County Grand Jury for “Distribution of Oxycodone” and “Conspiring to Distribute Oxycodone”.
Jason Andrew Junge, 26, of Hollywood, Md., was indicted after detectives recovered more than one pound of marijuana and distribution paraphernalia inside his home during a search and seizure warrant.
