Armold was charged with possession of drugs on April 25, 2013 but the charges were dropped by St. Mary’s States Attorney Richard Fritz on June 27, 2013. Armold was represented by two Public Defenders, Michael Morgan and Gerald J. Riviello (at the expense of the taxpayers) and had been arrested by St. Mary’s Sheriff’s Deputy M. A. Labanowski. Ironically, while States Attorney Fritz was busy indicting Armold on drug charges on Sept. 10th, on Sept. 24, 2014 Fritz dropped charges of driving while suspended which had been placed against her on July 1, 2014 at 2:15 am by Maryland State Trooper Ditoto. According to St. Mary’s Sheriff’s Capt. Daniel Alioto, Vice/Narcotics detectives, working with Inspectors from the United States Postal Inspection Service, identified a possible package arriving in St. Mary’s County from the State of California containing a large quantity of marijuana.
A Hollywood, Maryland residence was identified as the destination and Jason Andrew Junge, 25, was identified as the target to which the drugs were sent.Continue Reading
