Wrong Way Jason Lynch awarded 5th DUI but has nothing to worry about from States Attorney Olgesby

O&&num;8217&semi;Reilly Lynch cited with 5th DWI&comma; but court records show nearly all of his arrests vanish when the prosecutor appears<&sol;h4>&NewLine;<p>SNOW HILL&comma; MD&period; &lpar;Sept&period; 15&comma; 2014&rpar; According to Worcester County Sheriff&&num;8217&semi;s deputies report that on September 11&comma; 2014 around 9&colon;00 pm a Deputy on patrol on Route 113 north of Shad Landing observed a vehicle that was traveling north bound on the south bound shoulder&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The Deputy had to travel north to a turn around and by the time he did&comma; the vehicle was in the yard of 3739 Worcester Hwy and when the deputy turned on his spot light&comma; the vehicle fled through the yard to the rear of the house&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The Deputy reports that he then drove to the house and located the vehicle with the operator and a passenger exiting the vehicle&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p>The Deputy contacted the operator&comma; Jason T&period; O’Reilly   Lynch&comma; 35&comma; of Snow Hill&comma; and asked what he was doing&period; The Deputy noticed that Lynch was having difficulty maintaining his balance and had a strong odor of alcoholic beverage&period; Lynch refused field sobriety tests and was arrested&period; Lynch was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Driving While Impaired by Alcohol&period; Lynch was later released pending a court date in the Snow Hill District Court&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<h3><strong>Lynch has a friend in the Courthouse&semi; four prior DUI arrests have mostly vanished <&sol;strong><&sol;h3>&NewLine;<p>Lynch has a long criminal arrest record&comma; of which most charges were dropped by the Worcester County States Attorney&comma; which includes the following&colon;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<ul>&NewLine;<li>Charged by Maryland State Trooper Tony Morton with malicious property destruction on June 29&comma; 1999&period; Lynch appeared in court on Aug&period; 27&comma; 1999 when he was found guilty in Worcester County District Court and fined &dollar;300 with &dollar;150 of the fine suspended by the Judge&period; There was no court record of any restitution for the property that he was found guilty of destroying&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Charged in Worcester County District Court on July 30&comma; 1999 with burglary by Deputy Andrew Nicholson&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Charged with operating an unregistered vehicle on Gunpoint Road by Worcester County Sheriff’s Deputy A&period; McGee on June 8&comma; 2000&comma; and facing a &dollar;270 fine&comma; Lynch engaged the services of Christopher Palmer of Ocean City who convinced the Worcester County States Attorney to drop the charges on Sept&period; 21&comma; 2000&period; Numerous charges for underage possession of alcohol were also dropped during that time period&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Charged with <strong>DWI<&sol;strong> on May 5&comma; 2002&comma; Lynch took the case to the Circuit Court and arranged a plea deal with the States Attorney for Worcester County&comma; Md&period; Eight counts of DWI and reckless driving were dropped and Lynch entered a guilty plea on July 10&comma; 2002 with a statement of facts and picked up a sentence of thirty days in jail with the court immediately approving work release&period; No fine was assessed against him by the Judge&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Charged also on June 8&comma; 2003 by Deputy McGee with <strong>DWI<&sol;strong>&comma; he entered a guilty plea on April 21&comma; 2003&period; Lynch was represented by the Public Defender Worcester County and in a plea deal with the States Attorney&comma; entered a guilty plea which resulted in a &dollar;500 fine and sixty days in jail&period; According to court records&comma; he was immediately granted parole and by May 16&comma; 2003 had failed to pay his fine&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Charged with two counts of possession of marijuana by Maryland State Police Trooper Black on Sept&period; 20&comma; 2000&comma; both charges were dropped by the Worcester County States Attorney on Dec&period; 1&comma; 2000&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Charged on May 31&comma; 2004 with charges of assault&comma; malicious property destruction and possession of drugs by Maryland State Police Trooper Timothy J&period; Corbin&comma; all charges were dropped by the Worcester County States Attorney on July 14&comma; 2004&period; Court records do not reflect any attorney or public defender cooking this deal for Lynch&comma; he apparently has a lot of juice with the prosecutor&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Charged with resisting arrest on June 2&comma; 2004&comma; Lynch appeared in Worcester County District Court on July 19&comma; 2004 and the charge was dropped by the States Attorney&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Charged with assault on July 15&comma; 2006&comma; by Maryland State Police Trooper Sigmund&comma; Lynch was represented by Marc Zeve of Berlin in Worcester County District Court on March 23&comma; 2007&period; He entered a guilty plea in a deal with the States Attorney which netted him a fine of &dollar;400&period;50 and court costs along with three months in jail&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Charged with <strong>DWI<&sol;strong> on May 11&comma; 2013 by Worcester County Sheriff’s Deputy Guylas&comma; the charge against Lynch was dropped by Worcester County States Attorney on Aug&period; 12&comma; 2013&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Charged with speeding on U&period;S&period; 113&comma; the Worcester County States Attorney dropped the charges on Aug&period; 12&comma; 2013&period; A charge of driving while suspended was also dropped by the Worcester County States Attorney on that date&comma; with Ocean City attorney Richard A&period; Parolski representing him&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Charged with<strong> DUI<&sol;strong> by Worcester County Sheriff’s Deputy C&period; Laramore on May 30&comma; 2014 at 10&colon;51 pm while southbound on U&period; S&period; 113 he appeared in court on Sept&period; 8&comma; 2014&period; The Worcester County States Attorney put this DUI on the stet docket&comma; which means that Lynch has to obey all laws or the case can be revived&period; There was no jail time or fine associated with this deal by the prosecutor and Lynch was represented by M&period; Dean Jenkins of Ocean City&comma; Md&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Charged with operating an unregistered vehicle on U&period;S&period; 113&comma; this charge placed against him on May 30&comma; 2014&comma; as well as a charge of failing to remain at the scene of an accident involving property damage were also placed on the stet docket by Worcester County States Attorney&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<&sol;ul>&NewLine;<p><strong>&lpar;Editor’s Note&colon; Joel Todd &lpar;D&period;&rpar; was Worcester County States Attorney until January of 2011 when Beau Oglesby &lpar;R&period;&rpar; who had defeated him in the 2010 General Election was sworn into office&period;  Oglesby had lost a narrow race against Todd in 2006 and won in 2010 by about 80 votes&period; Oglesby is opposed in the 2014 election by Democrat Michael W&period; Farlow&period; Whatever great get-out-of-jail free card that Lynch holds has apparently been good with both the current and former prosecutor&period;&rpar;<&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p><strong> <&sol;strong><&sol;p>&NewLine;<div id&equals;"metaslider-id-3609" style&equals;"max-width&colon;
