Suddenly on Saturday, August 31, 2013 Jason Alexander Murphy departed this earthly life. Family and friends will unite on Friday, September 6, from 9:30am until time of service 11:00am at the Temple of Praise 700 Southern Avenue, SE Washington, DC 20032. Interment will follow Maryland National Cemetery

Rt. 301 crosses the Potomac River by the Gov. Harry W. Nice Bridge. The bridge opened in 1941 and had guards posted against German saboteurs during WWII.
