Murder USA: pair charged with attempted murder after administering parking lot beating

Gerrod Deandre Powell charged with assault by BCPD 090814

Baltimore, Md. (Sept. 8, 2014) Baltimore County Police report that they have charged two people in connection with an assault on September 4 in the 8000 block of Liberty Rd 21244 that left a man seriously injured.

Warren Christian Davis (29) of the 3800 block of Sylvan Drive 21207

Both men are charged with attempted first degree murder and related charges. They are being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.

The initial investigation into this incident has indicated that the victim and the suspects became involved in an argument in the parking lot of Greek Village Carryout. During the argument, the suspects beat the victim with an unknown object.

The victim was transported to an area hospital where he remains in critical condition.

The nature of the argument between the victim and the suspects remains unclear.

This incident remains under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Violent Crimes Unit.
