Thanks to family members and community members in Dominion, suspect Teddy Lee is now in custody.
He is charged with 1st degree assault, two count 2nd degree assault and MDOP plus a second warrant for Violation of Probation.

INCIDENT: Recovered Stolen Vehicle DATE / TIME: 07/27/2014 @ 1216 Hours LOCATION: 300 Block of Burchard Sawmill Road, Chestertown (QA) NARRATIVE: Deputy Walch checked the area for a suspicious vehicle call. He located a tan Chevrolet Silverado parked on the side of the roadway with a window down. A computer check showed the truck to be stolen from Kent County. A deputy from Kent County responded and took custody of the vehicle

NARRATIVE: General manager at the business reported arriving to work and finding several doors unsecured and further in the building the safe room door had been smashed to gain access. An undisclosed amount of cash was missing and damages were estimated at over $1000. The burglary occurred sometime between July 26th and July 28th.

NARRATIVE: The Cloughs reported letting their dog out early in the morning and when checking to see why it was barking realized someone had been in her car. Loose change and her husband wallet with his ID and credit cards were taken. A second report came in around 0948 hours from Robin Nicholson on Goldsboro Road. She found her glove box open but nothing is believed to have been taken.

NARRATIVE: Employees at Back Yard Billy’s reported a female had taken a table from the business with paying for it. They saw the female drive away in a gray Honda Accord and that the table was in the front seat. The table had a retail price of $200. The subject was located by deputies on Collier Lane but no longer had the table and denied taking it. She was identified as a 33 year old local female and the information provided to the employees for charges.

INCIDENT: Illegal Alien DATE / TIME: 07/31/2014 @ 0450 Hours
LOCATION: 2500 Block of Bloomingdale Road, Queenstown
ARREST: Hector Antoni Canales-Granados (36) of Queenstown
CHARGE: Illegal Alien / Non-Compliant Sex Offender
NARRATIVE: Working with Homeland Security ICE Agent it was learned that Hector Canales-Granados was illegally living in the area of Queenstown. He had been convicted in 2009 of a second degree rape and had been ordered to register as a sex offender before being deported.
In July 2011, Canales-Granados was located and arrested in Dorchester County and deported a second time.
On 7/31 Detectives from the Sheriff’s Criminal Investigation Unit, Patrol Deputies and an ICE Agent located a vehicle that Canales-Granados was reported to be operating at a residence on Bloomingdale Road.
No one in the house responded, however two subjects were located in the back yard they advised they were there to meet Canales-Granados for work and that he was in the house. A female answered the door about a half an hour later and denied Canales-Granados was there. A search later located the suspect in a closet of a home office. Hector Canales-Granados was transported to the Baltimore office of Homeland Security / ICE where he faces federal charges.

NARRATIVE: Victims reported someone had entered the unlocked vehicles during the night and had taken items. Ms. Newman reported several dollars of loose change stolen, Ms. Torian was missing an iPod, an Apple laptop and several dollars of change and Mr. Bailey a Tag Heuer wrist watch. The items stolen were valued at over $3300.

NARRATIVE: A manager at the Golf Course advised that a group of kids had been told to stopping walking on the putting greens and other locations on the course. A check this morning showed that the greens at several holes and been walked on sometime after 2200 hours the night before causing minor damage. The #14 flag pole had also been stolen and was valued at $80.

NARRATIVE: Victim reported seeing the interior light of his pickup come on looked out his window and saw an unknown male with brown hair in the driveway. A search of the area failed to locate the suspect and a check of vehicles in the driveway appeared nothing had been taken.

LOCATION: Kent Towne Market Shopping Center, Chester
NARRATIVE: Deputies responded to location for a reported argument between two men. On arrival both parties were contacted. One man reported that the other had threatened him with a knife. The second male stated that the other party had cut him off and taken a parking space and that his passenger had yelled at him. When the argument became more heated, he admitted to showing the subject a knife, however had never exited his vehicle. While showing a deputy the knife, a set of brass knuckles was observed and seized. As the incident calmed down, neither party desired charges. Charges are pending for possession of the seized weapons.

NARRATIVE: A Mazda Pickup was stopped for equipment violations near the RT 50 & RT 301 split. During the stop a 30 pack of beer was observed and that a friend had purchased it for him. Miller was issued a civil citation for possession and released.

NARRATIVE: The victim told her parent that she had been approached by a man in a red Saturn passenger car and told her to get in the car. When she told the man no, he drove off. With a description of the car and the man, he was located nearby and identified as local resident (early 40’s). He stated he had offered the girl a ride and had no idea she was that young. NARRATIVE: Victim reported leaving the residence in the morning and returning late that evening. After being home for 45 minutes, she started to realize items missing despite the house appearing to be secure. A Toshiba laptop, shoes, assorted hand tools, clothing and cologne and valued at over $5000. NARRATIVE: Loss Prevention at the K Mart store observed a female placing items into a bag and leaving the store without paying for the items. She was stopped and escorted back to the store and found to have $131 dollars of lingerie, food and other small items. She was identified as a 31 year old woman from Davidsonville, MD. She was released at the scene with charges pending.

NARRATIVE: The women had been away from the residence for several days and discovered that someone had entered the residence and taken a pedestal fan, several spoons and Ms. Campbell’s wallet containing various cards and cash. No forced entry was observed. The estimated loss was placed at $223. Investigation remains open. NARRATIVE: Deputies responded to the parking lot on Wells Cove Road for an unconscious subject. Persons at the scene reported an altercation between a bouncer and a male subject and that the man was pushed and fell striking his head. The injured man was treated by medical personnel and transported from the scene by ambulance. Follow-up investigation reports that at this time no one is seeking charges.

LOCATION: 107 Hissey Road, Grasonville VICTIM: See narrative
NARRATIVE: Jonica White of Middletown reported an altercation with Brittany Lawson of Queenstown over a male subject. During several altercations in the motel parking lot other family members became involved including White’s mother Corina Lewis of Grasonville and aunt Tracinda Lewis also of Grasonville and Lawson’s mother Dawn Pulanco of Queenstown. White, Corina Lewis and Tracinda Lewis reported several minor injuries and went to QA Emergency Room.
Lawson and Pulanco were located in Grasonville and reported that trash talk on the phone had led Brittany to go to the motel and confront White. When she returned and told her mother about the altercation the two returned to the motel and a second altercation occurred when Pulanco was allegedly “sucker punched”.
All persons involved were advised of court procedures to obtain charges if desired.

The items are valued at $2700. No forced entry point at the residence was noted.

VICTIM: Numerous Residences
NARRATIVE: Several residents reported their mailboxes damaged or destroyed during the night by unknown person(s). The damage occurred in the 700, 800 and 900 block of Cloverfields Drive. It appears someone was using other residents trash cans to damage the mailboxes. One resident reported hearing what sounded like a truck muffler just before his mailbox was struck between 0100 and 0130 hours.

TRAFFIC:
Case 14-24474: July 29th @ 2130 hours a black passenger car was observed being operated without taillights. The vehicle stop was on Dominion road after the car struck the curb. The driver was identified as Karen Ann Cossaboon (58) of Chester. With indication the driver had been drinking , field sobriety tasks were attempted. Based on observation of the attempts, she was placed under arrest and charged with DWI. She was later released on her signature.
Case 14-25023: On August 3rd @ 0134 hours an off-duty Police Officer reported a white Ford truck driving erratically. The truck was located in the Castle Marina area, observed several traffic violations and stopped as it entered onto RT 50. The driver was identified as Brian Ray March (45) of Baltimore. After attempting field sobriety tasks, he was placed under arrest and charged with DWI. He was later released on his own recognizance.
