PG Police working to identify victim of fatal crash on Croom Road

News with an Impact06/18/2014  — The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a fatal collision in Upper Marlboro.

Investigators are currently working to identify the victim. 
 
On June 17, 2014, at about 2:15 pm, patrol officers were called to the 11200 block of Croom Road for the report of a crash involving an SUV. The driver and only occupant died a short time later at a hospital.
 
The preliminary investigation reveals the victim was heading southbound on Croom Road when, for reasons which remain unclear, he lost control of his SUV, left the roadway and struck a tree.
