Southern Md. Police Beat / Combatants stake out jail cells in episode of Whacky Wild Women

CALIFORNIA, MD. – There is nothing like a bunch of stake-wielding women attacking each other in a parking lot to wipe away the cobwebs of early morning coffee and gas customers at the Wawa. Their weapons of choice were wooden stakes, which begs the question, was their intent to drive the stakes into the hearts of their opponents before the sun rose in the east? That really is the best way to kill a vampire.

Nine indicted by Caroline Grand Jury in Heroin Slam; St. Mary’s Adds to Tally with Heroin Dealer Suspect and Leonardtown High Teacher

LEONARDTOWN, MD. — St. Mary’s Sheriff’s Capt. Dan Alioto, the chief of the Narco Squad, reports the arrest of Michael Leonard Semiklose, 29, of Lexington Park, was identified as a distributor of heroin. A search and seizure warrant was obtain and executed on his home. Heroin and other evidence were recovered from the home and Semiklose was arrested. Additional charges are pending a State’s Attorney’s Office review.
