Drug Dealer Byron Tunnell Died After Hospital Said He Was Just Peachy After Being Tased to End Flight From  Flatfoots

Tunnell was found guilty of conspiracy to distribute drugs on Jan. 2, 2014.  The plea deal in Worcester County Circuit Court provided for a jail term of one year with all the jail time suspended except for two months and 29 days.

Michael M. McCarraher took his turn too wide; was nearly three times the legal limit in DUI arrest

DUI-Related Collision: On November 6, 2014 at approximately 1613 hours, Michael M. McCarraher was driving a 1994 Jeep Wrangler north along MD Route 589 when he attempted to turn onto Beauchamp Road. McCarraher was not able to properly turn (turned wide) and struck the driver’s side door of a 2010 Nissan Rogue stopped on Beauchamp Road at the intersection awaiting for the traffic light to change. McCarraher was deemed to be impaired and subsequently arrested. He submitted to an evidentiary breath test with a result of 0.19 grams of alcohol. There were no injuries in the collision.

Ocean City Police track down and arrest suspects in robbery of city bus driver

August 13, 2014) –Ocean City Police Major Crimes detectives, with assistance from the York County, PA United States Marshals Fugitive Task Force, have arrested three suspects involved in the robbery of a municipal bus driver in the early morning hours of June 14, 2014.

On June 14, at approximately 1 a.m., Ocean City police responded to an assault that had already occurred at Worcester Street and Baltimore Avenue on a municipal bus. Officers determined that three male subjects boarded the bus and a verbal altercation ensued with the bus driver. As the argument escalated, the suspects assaulted the bus driver, robbed him of several bus tickets and fled the scene. The bus driver was treated on scene by Ocean City EMS and transported to Atlantic General Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
