Residents of the unit awoke to find the unit in disarray and multiple personal items stolen. It was determined that over $3,500 in electronics, cash, and other miscellaneous items were stolen including one wallet.

Swift currents claim third man in seven days at Cove Point on Chesapeake Bay

LUSBY, MD. — Those who are unaware of the swift currents in the Chesapeake Bay at Cove Point Lighthouse should take note of the fact that three people have drowned at that location in one week. Daniel Jason Brown and his brother, Douglas Brown Jr. died on July 27th when both men were caught in the currents of the Bay and drowned. Daniel’s body was recovered the day he died while his brother’s body was found two days later.

Ocean City Police Beat: Crime never stops at Ocean City with drug dealers and armed thugs roaming the boardwalk

Two of the occupants, later identified as Frans Caleb Estima, 21, and Jacob Tyler Sharp, 20, of Blandon PA, were arrested. Estima was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and obstructing and hindering. Sharp was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, concealed dangerous weapons and obstructing and hindering. The third occupant was issued a civil citation for possession of marijuana and released.

Delaware’s Dirty and Dangerous Dozens

The investigation revealed that the suspects would conceal their identity by donning clothing items over their faces and then make forced entry into the home of the victims and utilize firearms to commit robbery. During one of the home invasion robberies, two victims were shot and killed and during another, one victim was wounded during an exchange of gunfire.
