The victim stated that he was approached by two individuals, one of which the victim met days prior, and the two invited the victim to join them at a party.

An autopsy was completed and it revealed severe head trauma. The injuries were not consistent with a fall and the evidence at the scene. The case was ruled a homicide by multiple blunt force trauma to the head.
The driver of the truck and two young passengers were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
