Best Western robbed at 3 o’clock in the morning by gunman
BEAR, DEL. – The Delaware State Police report that they are currently investigating the armed robbery of a Bear area hotel that occurred this past week.
The preliminary investigation has determined the incident occurred on Thursday, September 7, 2017, at 3:00 a.m. as a male suspect entered the Best Western Hotel located at 875 Pulaski Highway, Bear. The suspect approached the clerk at the counter and displayed an unknown make and model handgun and demanded money from the register. The suspect then grabbed an undisclosed amount of money and fled the hotel in an unknown direction. The clerk was not injured.
The suspect was described as a black male in his 20’s wearing dark clothing with his head covered armed with an unknown handgun.
