<h2>HEROIN DEATH SPIRAL &#8212; Tromar Mapp Indicted for Gun, Heroin Charges</h2>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">WILMINGTON, DEL. – Just when business in the heroin trade is getting good and customers are dying to get their hands on a really goosey dose of smack, the Feds have sidelined an alleged drug dealer.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">David C. Weiss, Acting United States Attorney for the District of Delaware, announced that Tromar Mapp, 28, of Seaford, Delaware, was charged by Indictment earlier this month with possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, three counts of distribution of heroin, and one count of possession with intent to distribute heroin.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">For the possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking charge, Mapp faces a mandatory minimum sentence of five years imprisonment and a maximum sentence of life imprisonment. For the possession of a firearm by a prohibited person charge, Mapp faces a maximum penalty of ten years imprisonment. The maximum penalty for each heroin charge is twenty years imprisonment.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The case was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives with assistance from the Delaware State Police and the Seaford Police Department. This case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Jennifer K. Welsh.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Mapp was found guilty of four charges of Rogue and Vagabond in Wicomico County, Maryland, District Court on Nov. 22, </span>2011<span style="font-size: 12pt;">, and was sentenced to three years </span>in<span style="font-size: 12pt;"> jail with all of the sentence suspended. Probation was ordered for two years.</span></p>
