<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">CLAYMONT, DEL. &#8211; Delaware State Police reports that their Robbery Unit detectives have arrested a 25-year-old Claymont man in connection with the robbery of a Wawa customer which occurred in late May.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Michael B. Reynolds Jr. turned himself into detectives at Troop 2 yesterday evening. Reynolds was subsequently arrested and charged with Robbery 1st Degree. He was arraigned at JP Court 2 and committed to the Howard Young Correctional Institution in default of $25,000.00 secured bond.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Reynolds was wanted by detectives after he was identified as the suspect who robbed a male victim in the bathroom of the Wawa located at 2621 Philadelphia Pike, Claymont, on May 29, 2017.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The initial investigation determined that the incident occurred at approximately 12:19 a.m., Monday, May 29, 2017, as a male customer entered the bathroom of the Wawa located at 2621 Philadelphia Pike. It was at this point that the customer was confronted by a male suspect who had also entered the bathroom. The suspect implied that he was armed with a handgun and demanded money from the victim. The victim complied with the suspect’s demands and turned over an undisclosed amount of money to him. The suspect then exited the bathroom and fled from the store. The victim was not injured.</span></p>
