<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">WOODCREST, DEL. – New Castle County Police reports that they continue to investigate the shooting of an innocent bystander by local criminals in the Woodcrest community.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">New Castle County Police reports that detectives continue to investigate a shooting that left a 19-year-old man injured early on Sunday, Oct. 23, 2016. The victim, who remains hospitalized, is listed in critical condition.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Detectives say the facts of the case, at this point in the investigation, lead them to believe the victim was an innocent bystander.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">This is an ongoing and active investigation; further details will be released as they become available.</span></p>
