<h2>State Police Arrest Two Men In Connection With Salisbury Fatal Shooting</h2>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">(SALISBURY, MD) – Maryland State Police homicide investigators arrested two Salisbury men in connection with the fatal shooting of Keonte Gaskins that occurred earlier this month in Salisbury in a Wicomico County apartment complex.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The suspects identified and arrested are Gerald Ogress Savage Jr., 18, of the 400 block of Brookridge Drive in Salisbury and Joshue Isiah Perry, 18, of the 400 block of S. Kaywood Drive in Salisbury. Both Savage and Perry are charged with first and second-degree murder, use of a firearm in a violent crime, possession of a firearm and several other charges. Additional arrests are pending.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Savage and Perry were arrested without incident on Sunday, May 29, 2016, around 12:00 noon in Salisbury. They are currently being held at the Wicomico County Detention Center without bond.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">On May 11, 2016, the body of Keonte Gaskins, 21, of no fixed address, was found in the outdoor stairwell of the Village of Mitchell Pond Apartment Complex on Parsons Road in Salisbury. Residents from the apartment complex called 9-1-1 after making the discovery. Emergency medical providers pronounced Gaskins deceased at the scene.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Investigators from the Maryland State Police Homicide Unit were called to assist the Salisbury Police Department in the investigation. Upon their arrival, Gaskins appeared to have suffered multiple gunshot wounds.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">State police continue to interview residents of the apartment complex and others who may be associated with Gaskins. One witness advised police that shots were heard shortly after midnight on May 10, 2016.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Gaskins has been convicted of trespassing three times in the past three years and had been placed on probation after entering a guilty plea in Wicomico County District Court in 2013.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">On Dec. 2, 2015, Gaskins was found guilty of trespassing on private property and was sent to jail for 90 days with 84 days of the sentence suspended. Police say that Gaskins had no known address at the time of his ventilation by gunfire which led to his demise. Court records show the Miami Avenue address.</span></p>
