<h2>Murder USA: Death never takes a holiday in Temple Hills; one drug dealer down</h2>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">TEMPLE HILLS, MD. &#8212; The march of the murderers continues in the Pretty Gory County of Prince Georges County, Md., with the shooting death of Taurean Beard. Police say that the dead guy was 26-years-old and lived at 4415 23rd Place in Temple Hills, Md., a neighborhood which likely has other drug dealers ready to fill the gap of this dead death merchant. Anyone with information on this case is asked to call 1-866-411-TIPS. Tipsters do not have to give their name and could be eligible for an up to $25,000 reward.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a homicide in Temple Hills. Preliminarily, detectives do not believe this was a random act. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered in this case.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">On September 6, 2015, at about 11:40 pm, patrol officers were called to the 4600 block of Dallas Place for the report of a shooting. When they arrived, they found a man outside suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene. Preliminarily, detectives believe this homicide may have stemmed from an attempted robbery.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Two other victims were hurt during this incident. Preliminarily, their injuries do not appear life-threatening.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Detectives are working to identify the suspect(s) in this case.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Beard was indicted on drug dealing charges on Aug. 19, 2014, all of which were dumped by Prince Georges County States Attorney Angela Alsobrooks on Nov. 14, 2014. While Alsobrooks puts out press releases of her court victories she never seems to get around to informing the public of when she drops charges against violent drug dealers. The indictment against Beard for drug dealing was presented to the Grand Jury by Alsobrooks who just three months later dropped the charges. A typical reason for dropping charges against a drug dealer is when that dealer rats out another, hopefully larger dealer. That dealer might have figured out that it what happened and the murder of Beard may be the result.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Charged with drug dealing and possession for acts which took place on March 27, 2013, Beard was indicted by a Grand Jury on June 13, 2013. The drug dealing charge was dropped in a plea deal with States Attorney Alsobrooks on Dec. 20, 2013 when Beard entered a guilty plea to possession.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">While a resident of the Maryland State Prison in Roxbury, Hagerstown in 2010, Beard was charged with possession of contraband and drugs and entered a guilty plea on May 3, 2011, resulting in one year and one day added onto his sentence.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">On Aug. 21, 2015, Beard admitted in Prince Georges County Circuit Court that he had violated his probation from a conviction for drug dealing. He was sentenced to sixty days in jail and given credit for sixty days served and released to be available for one of his drug competitors to end his career as a criminal with a barrage of gunfire.</span></p>
