<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">ALEXANDRIA, VA. &#8212; A citizen who went for a walk in a park with a dog early on the morning of Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2015 found more than the cool morning air on a hot summer day. A body of a man who was beaten to death, in what police said was “significant trauma” in this Huntington neighborhood drama – was the discovery.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Fairfax County Police report that on Thursday August 13, homicide detectives charged Michael Norman Powell, 19, of Alexandria, with Second Degree Murder in the killing of Khalid Aboumalik.</span> <span style="font-size: 12pt;">The suspect was captured by a task force of Fairfax County Police Fugitive Detectives and The U.S. Marshals Service.
