<h2>Alleged slave owner imported hookers from Europe for Montgomery County prostitution business</h2>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">GERMANTOWN, MD. &#8212; In the third recent incident of a role reversal of the historic issue of slavery in America, police agencies in Maryland have charged an African-American man for owning slaves and allegedly forcing them to work for him the sex industry. Other incidents in the past year have taken place with the arrest of two black men for imprisoning women in Princess Anne, Md., and transporting them to men for prostitution throughout Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Pennsylvania.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><a href="https://www.the-chesapeake.com//wp-content/uploads/2014/12/Black-Slave-Owners-in-21st-Century.jpg"><img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-6794" src="https://www.the-chesapeake.com//wp-content/uploads/2014/12/Black-Slave-Owners-in-21st-Century-300x187.jpg" alt="Black Slave Owners in 21st Century" width="300" height="187" /></a>In the most recent charges against a black slave owner, Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – Vice and Intelligence Section have arrested Armand Theinkue Donfack, age 35, of the 19900 block of Choctaw Court in Germantown, for operating a business of prostitution and human trafficking.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Police say that on July 7, 2015, detectives began an investigation into possible prostitution activity after receiving information about escort advertisements being posted on the Internet. Such ads can be found on Craigslist and Backpage websites and have been a boon to undercover cops looking to crack down on the world’s oldest two professions – slavery and prostitution.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Detectives e-mailed the advertised contact and arranged to meet a female escort at a hotel in the Milestone area of Germantown on July 8, 2015. That evening, detectives arrived at the hotel at the meeting time and observed a male, later identified as Donfack, arrive at the hotel. Donfack entered the lobby and exited a short time later, leaving in a vehicle. A female then exited the hotel and approached a plainclothes officer. The detective identified herself to the escort as an officer and asked her about her activities at the hotel. The female identified her “boss” as Donfack and stated to detectives that he took 60% of her weekly prostitution earnings. Detectives confirmed that Donfack paid for a room at the hotel on a regular basis. The female stated that she came to the United States to work as an escort.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">In the case of African slaves, they were also brought to the colonies for the purpose of slavery, which included provided sexual services.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Moroccan and Saudi diplomats were recently charged with keeping a slave at their personal residence in Virginia while other diplomats at the United Nations claimed immunity when caught enslaving workers in their New York City residences. All the diplomats were able to skip prosecution and leave the USA without any criminal charges. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">In this newest case in the region, police say that through investigation, Montgomery County Police detectives believe that Donfack advertised his escort business on French websites.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Donfack was arrested at his home on August 3, 2015, and was charged with two counts of human trafficking, one count of operating a business for prostitution, and two counts of prostitution. Donfack was released after posting a $10,000 bond.</span></p>

<h4>Maryland Sleuths Nab Pimp; Put the Brakes on Teen Hooker Business; Jimmie Junior Rogers II Held Girl as Sex Slave</h4>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">(Pikesville, MD) While University of Maryland students fret over imagined and perceived racism in a frat-brothers email, slavery is shown to still be alive in the former slave-state of Maryland.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Coming on the heels of another such case in December where State Police nabbed two black guys who were conducting a sex-slave business in Princess Anne and shipping the slaves back and forth to Pennsylvania to service customers, another alleged black slave master apparently finds keeping teenage girls as his slave to be profitable.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Time will tell if the precocious students in College Park deem this crime serious enough for their lofty attention. Perhaps email statements are more important to them.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Members of the Maryland State Police Child Recovery Unit arrested an Anne Arundel County man on human trafficking charges and recovered a missing girl.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The suspect is identified as Jimmie Junior Rogers II, 27, of 8409 Terry Lee Way, Severn, Maryland.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Rogers was charged with Human Trafficking of a minor and related prostitution charges. Rogers was taken to the Anne Arundel County District Court where he is awaiting an appearance.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">As a result of an online investigation into an internet advertisement, members of the Maryland State Police Child Recovery Unit with the assistance of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, recovered a missing 17-year-old female victim. Police believe the young girl was the victim of a human trafficking business.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The investigation revealed she was reported missing by the Baltimore City Police Department.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">On April 3, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. Maryland State troopers investigating the case, located the suspect at a hotel in the 800-block of Elkridge Landing Road in Linthicum. Rogers was arrested without incident.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The Maryland Internet Crimes against Children Task Force is comprised of police agencies from around the state. Its primary mission is to protect children from computer-facilitated sexual exploitation.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The Task Force works cooperatively with law enforcement agencies and prosecutors to provide resources to combat these crimes.</span></p>
<h4><strong></strong><strong> Black Slave Owners in 21st Century</strong></h4>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Additionally, the Task Force provides community awareness campaigns helping to prevent the spread of these crimes through education.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Rogers was charged with 17 counts of prostitution and human trafficking by force and for purpose of financial gain by Maryland State Police Cpl. Heid.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The Anne Arundel County States Attorney’s Office made a special deal for this accused slave-master of young teens.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">On April 9, 2014 in Anne Arundel District Court, the States Attorney put five traffic charges including DUI, reckless driving, speeding on the Stet Docket. Rogers had been charged by Maryland State Trooper M. Bender on Dec. 31, 2013 at 11:50 pm.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The 2013 New Year’s Eve DUI arrest resulted in no time and no fine as Rogers waltzed out of court to get back to his business of being an alleged pimp and slave-master.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">As corruption in the American judicial system has a fine tradition going back to the founding of the nation, what inducements may have been to prosecutors to give such favorable treatment to Rogers can only be surmised by the reader.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The former Anne Arundel States Attorney, responsible for the easy treatment for such a serious offence as benefited Rogers, lost the election last year to Republican Wes Adams who will now be responsible for preparing and prosecuting the pending charges.</span></p>
<h4>21st Century Underground Railroad: hookers owned by black slave owners forced to work from Princess Anne north to Delaware and Pennsylvania</h4>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The historic roots of slaves fleeing from slavery during the 1850’s led to the creation of the Underground Railroad on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Religious figures, former slaves, those opposed to slavery all joined together to hide fugitive slaves from Maryland and other Southern States as they worked their way north to freedom.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Now police have arrested two black men who kept women as their slaves and sold them as prostitutes, beat them and kept them under lock and key….allegedly…</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Here is the story…</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">(PRINCESS ANNE, MD) – Troopers arrested two men yesterday in Somerset County on human trafficking and related charges after two women traveling with them were found held against their will.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The first suspect is identified as Travon Anthony, 33, who is also known to use the name Katone Walker, of the 600 block of Humel Avenue in Leymoyne, Pennsylvania. He was charged with two counts of human trafficking, kidnapping, and false imprisonment. Anthony is currently being held at the Somerset County Detention Center without bond.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The second suspect is identified as Kyree Tatem, 23, of the 100 block of E. East Street in Delmar, Maryland. He was charged with two counts of human trafficking, kidnapping, and false imprisonment, as well as possession of heroin. Tatem is currently being held at the Somerset County Detention Center without bond.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The victims are both women from Maryland, ages 20 and 25. The Maryland State Police does not identify victims of sexual assault.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The investigation began around 6:00 p.m. yesterday, when investigators from the Maryland State Police Criminal Enforcement Division along with uniformed troopers from Princess Anne Barrack responded to a hotel after receiving information from one of the victim’s family members that she was being held against her</span> <span style="font-size: 12pt;">will. After establishing a room location, troopers knocked on the door making contact with Kyree Tatem and both victims. During initial interviews, it was revealed that Travon Anthony was running the operation and he had gone to pick up belongings left in a Delaware hotel.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The preliminary investigation indicates both women traveled with Anthony and Tatem from Delaware to Maryland. Both women had engaged in prostitution and initially agreed to have Anthony arrange clients. Tatem acted as security and kept a watch on the victims in Anthony’s absence.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">One of the victims was physically beaten by Anthony on November 30 prior to being brought to Maryland from Delaware. During the beating, Anthony threatened to kill her if she tried to leave. Fearing for their lives, both remained.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Anthony and Tatem transported the women to Maryland and checked them in to a Somerset County hotel. While traveling, one of the women was able to send a message to a family member alerting them to her situation. The family member immediately alerted police.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Members of the Maryland State Police Gang Enforcement Unit were able to locate the vehicle Anthony was known to operate. He was stopped and arrested without incident.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Investigators have contacted detectives in Delaware advising them of the criminal activity that occurred in their area. The Somerset County state’s attorney’s office has also been contacted and was consulted throughout this investigation.</span></p>
