<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Update:</strong> Agmere Matthews, shown above at left, and wanted in connection with the shooting at Bubba’s was arrested shortly after noon on February 20th by the Dover Police Department SAFE Streets Unit working with the Delaware State Police Governor’s Task Force, and The US Marshall’s Fugitive Task Force. Matthews was taken into custody without incident. Bond information is pending his arraignment later this afternoon.</span></p>

<p><strong>Narrative:</strong></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">On Sunday February 8, 2015 the Dover Police Department responded to the Bubba’s night club for a large crowd gathering as the club was closing. While officers were on scene they heard several gun shots fired in the parking lot. Officers immediately responded to the area where they heard the gun shots and located numerous spent shell casings. Witnesses at the scene told the officers that Naquan Ingram and Agmere Matthews got into a verbal altercation with the male victim inside of Bubba’s night club that eventually led outside. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Police say that once outside Matthews, Ingram and several others not identified at this time allegedly assaulted the male victim, who was eventually able to get away and got into his car. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Police say that after the victim and his girlfriend got into their car, Ingram and Matthews, who were in possession of handguns, shot at the victims several times. Officers located the victims and their vehicle, which had numerous bullet holes in it. However, neither part inside of the car was struck by any rounds that were fired. The male victim was taken to Kent General Hospital where he was treated for minor injuries and released.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">While at the scene officers were able to obtain a description of the vehicle that Ingram and Matthews fled in. Later in the morning officers located the suspect vehicle and stopped it in the area of Capital Green and contacted Ingram inside. Officers searched the vehicle and found a .40 caliber handgun that had been stolen from Salisbury, MD.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Naquan Ingram was arrested and committed to the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center in default of a $29,100.00 cash bond. <strong>Agmere Matthews is currently wanted by the Dover Police Department for crimes relating to this incident.</strong> The investigation is still ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Dover Police Department at (302)736-7111.
