Cops Want Robber Who Hit Two Fast Food Joints
HENRICO COUNTY, VA. – An armed man who robbed two Henrico County restaurants in the past few weeks is suspected of being responsible for both heists.
Henrico Police reports that the first robbery took place on Friday, January 9, 2015, at approximately 6:20 AM.
Police officers responded to a restaurant in the 8200 block of Brook Road for a commercial robbery where the suspect approached an employee, displayed a handgun, and demanded money. The employee handed over the loot, and then the greedy suspect approached the manager in the office and again demanded money. The suspect exited the business and fled on foot. No injuries were reported.
The suspect is described as a black male, 5’7” to 5’10”, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a black latex glove on his left hand, and armed with a revolver.
The second incident occurred on January 12, 2015, at approximately 6:30 AM in the 5600 block of Chamberlayne Road. Police say that the suspect entered the restaurant, pointed a gun at the help and demanded money.
Again, the gunman robbed the manager after first ordering the employee to cough up all money.
After robbing the employee, the suspect then went to the office and demanded money from the manager. Police say the robber then fled on foot.
No one was injured in the robbery though it would its likely that having a gun stuck in the face of the victims left them terrified.
The suspect is described as a black male, 5’8” to 5’10”, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, gray pants, and armed with a revolver. Photos of the suspect can be seen below.
