ROCKVILLE, MD. — The suspect wanted in connection with yesterday’s stabbing at Rockville Station has been arrested.
Late yesterday, Metro Transit Police detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Reginald COOPER, 38, of Maryland.
COOPER was arrested without incident this afternoon by Rockville City Police Department’s street crimes unit. He will face charges of second degree attempted murder.
The investigation has revealed that the incident began as a verbal altercation between three adult males at a location off Metro property. The males walked toward Rockville Metro, where the incident escalated to a physical altercation at the Ride ON bus stop. During the altercation, two of the males were stabbed by the third male. Both victims were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
