<p>GLEN BURNIE, MD. &#8212; <strong>Anne Arundel County Police</strong> report that after issuing a photo taken of a bank robber who implied he had a weapon when holding up a bank that they have now arrested and charged Eric Frederick Fish, 49, of Baltimore for the crime.</p>
<p>Detectives from the Northern District Detective Unit immediately began receiving tips from citizens in reference to this robbery.</p>
<p>As the detectives followed up on tips, they were eventually able to develop a suspect. As a result of the investigation, detectives were able to obtain a search warrant for the suspect’s house located at 2243 Cedley Street Baltimore, MD.</p>
<p>On October 24th, detectives executed the search warrant on the residence. The suspect attempted to flee the residence as detectives made entry into the home. The suspect was quickly taken into custody without incident and transported to Northern District for processing.</p>
<p>The suspect has been identified as <strong>Eric Frederick Fish</strong>, 49, of Baltimore and he has been charged with Armed Robbery, Robbery, and Theft over $1000.</p>
<p>On October 18, 2014 at approximately 10:20 a.m. officers from Northern District responded for a bank robbery which had just occurred at the <strong>Bank of America located at</strong> 80 Mountain Road in <strong>Glen Burnie.</strong></p>
<p>Upon arrival, officers met with several bank employees who advised a male suspect entered the bank and proceeded to stand in line waiting for a teller to assist him. The suspect then approached the bank teller and handed her a folder which contained a note inside. The bank teller opened the folder and observed the note which implied a weapon and demanded cash. The suspect did not display a handgun during the robbery but implied he was in possession of one by way of the note.</p>
<p>The bank teller then handed to the suspect an undetermined amount of U.S. Currency. The suspect took possession of the U.S. currency and exited the Bank of America and fled the area on foot. The suspect was last observed fleeing towards the area of Mountain Road.</p>
<p>Several patrol units from Northern and Eastern District along with <strong>K-9 and the Aviation Unit</strong> responded to the area in an attempt to locate the suspect. The search was met which met with negative results. The area was canvassed for video surveillance and other witnesses.</p>
<p>Northern District detectives also responded to the scene and interviewed the bank employees as well as other customers inside the Bank of America. A photograph of the suspect was obtained from the surveillance footage from the Bank of America and sent to all Anne Arundel County Police Districts. The F.B.I. was notified. ECU responded to process the scene and recover evidence.</p>
<p>There were no injuries sustained during the <strong>bank robbery.</strong></p>
<p>SUSPECT: White male, 50 to 60’s, tall and thin, Long gray and brown beard with mustache, wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, a light and dark gray baseball style hat with a Chevrolet symbol on the front and dark sunglasses.</p>
