CAPE CHARLES, VA. (Oct. 22, 2014) The coast guard reports that three people and their pets were saved from rough water in the Bay.

Photo shows the sailing vessel Mary Kay drags anchor in Chesapeake Bay near Cape Charles, Va., Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2014, with three seasick people aboard.

A Coast Guard helicopter crew from Air Station Elizabeth City, N.C., hoisted the people along with a cat and dog and brought them safely to shore.
