<p>NORTH POINT, MD. &#8212; Baltimore County Police are investigating a shooting that occurred last night.</p>

<p>On August 22, at 11:19 p.m., Baltimore County Police responded to the 8000-blk of Eastdale Road, 21222 for a shooting. The male victim told police that he was robbed by an unknown male suspect with a handgun of his cellphone and wallet.</p>
<p>After robbing the victim the suspect ran back up to the victim and shot him once in the lower part of his body. The suspect fled the area in an unknown direction. The victim was transported by Fire Department EMS personnel to a local hospital for treatment. He is expected to survive his injury.</p>
<p>Baltimore County Police Violent Crimes Unit detectives are investigating this case. Police are asking anyone with information about this crime to contact them at (410) 307-2020.</p>
