<p><strong>Bank Robbery &#8211; </strong><strong>Odenton<a href="https://www.the-chesapeake.com//wp-content/uploads/2014/04/Police-Beat.jpg"><img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-3470" src="https://www.the-chesapeake.com//wp-content/uploads/2014/04/Police-Beat-300x278.jpg" alt="Police Beat" width="300" height="278" /></a></strong></p>
<p>On August 15, 2014, at approximately 11:46 a.m., officers from the Western District responded to the<strong> M &; T Bank</strong> located in the 1300 block of Blair Drive in Odenton for a report of a robbery that just occurred.</p>
<p>Upon arrival, officers spoke with the bank employees who reported that the suspect entered the bank, displayed a note demanding money and received an undetermined amount of money before fleeing the bank.</p>
<p>Suspect: Black male in his 20&#8217;s, approximately 6&#8217;0&#8243;, 150 pounds with facial hair, last seen wearing a black hat with a white logo and a gold sticker on the bill, black sunglasses with a gold line on the frame, a long sleeve gray collared shirt and black cargo shorts.</p>
<p>EDGEWATER, MD. &#8212; 08/18/2014 &#8212; In March of 2014 <strong>The Anne Arundel County Police Department</strong> received numerous complaints involving sexually explicit photographs of juveniles being posted on Social Networking websites, such as Instagram. The images depicted mainly juvenile females posing nude or engaged in sexual activity. These images were posted on several different pages on the <strong>Instagram website</strong> and in each posting a different <strong>Anne Arundel County High School</strong> was referenced. Detectives were able to identify several of the juveniles in the pictures and learned a lot of the photographs had been taken either by themselves (aka:”selfies”) or consensually by another person.</p>
<p>The <strong>Anne Arundel County Child Abuse Unit detectives</strong> worked on the case month after month following leads and conducting interviews. In doing so, detectives were able to secure several search warrants where extensive searches were conducted involving the social media sites.</p>
<p>In doing so, detectives determined where the images had been uploaded to the different internet websites/social media outlets. A search warrant was executed at the suspect’s address where evidence was obtained linking a seventeen-year-old male high school student to the crime. During an interview with the male student he admitted to uploading images sent to him by other students on the internet.</p>
<p>The seventeen year-old male high school student was charged on a juvenile citation with Distribution and Possession of Child Pornography. The juvenile was charged in late July. The investigation continued into mid-August where no other suspects were identified or charged.</p>
<p>With the new school year fast approaching, the Anne Arundel County Police would like to urge the public to be aware of these issues and to report occurrences to the Anne Arundel County Police Department, the Instagram’s Help Center at <a href="http://help.instagram.com/">http://help.instagram.com</a> or the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children’s Cyber Tip Line at http://www.cybertipline.com.</p>
<p>The Anne Arundel County Police Department is also recommending parents speak with their children and explain to them the possible repercussions and dangers of taking photographs of themselves in a sexually explicit manner then posting them on the Internet.</p>
<p>Parents have to explain to their children that it is never acceptable. As soon as a parent hands their child a digital device, be it a phone, a tablet or a computer, you should begin the discussion that sending or receiving inappropriate pictures is never okay, nor is sending explicit sexual messages.</p>
<p>Discuss that this is no joke and they may face criminal charges as in this case mentioned above a seventeen year old male high school student. Remind children that once messages get sent they can be seen by anyone and can’t be taken back.</p>

<p><strong>Tampering with Auto Arrest </strong></p>

<p><strong>Annapolis, Md. Anne Arundel County Police report that an Eastern Shore woman was charged with breaking into vehicles in Annapolis. Police say that o</strong>n August 15, 2014 at approximately 4:00 p.m. officers responded to the 2000 block of Homewood Rd. Annapolis for a person tampering with vehicles.</p>
<p>The victim advised he walked out of his residence and observed a female pulling on the door handle of his vehicle. The vehicle was in the driveway of the residence with the doors locked. When the victim observed the female, he yelled at the suspect who fled the area on foot.</p>
<p>Officers arrived and searched the area. They located the suspect at <strong>Homewood Road and Baltimore Annapolis Blvd.</strong> After the initial investigation, the suspect was placed under arrest and transported to the Eastern District Station. The suspect was charged with Rogue and Vagabond, Trespassing and attempted Theft under $1000.</p>

<h2><strong>Orvil Adrian Glynn nabbed at Target in middle of $17,000 credit card spree with more than 100 cloned card</strong></h2>

<p align="left">GLEN BURNIE, MD. So much for being a loyal customer to Target &#8212;- which might have been on the mind of Orvil Glynn as the cops locked him on charges of running a con scheme with stolen credit cards. Why was he caught? Police say that a Target loss prevention detective spotted him as being a regular with lots of goofy credit cards and wham &#8212; it was all over.</p>
<p align="left">Police report that on August 14, 2014, at approximately 5:00 p.m., officers from the Northern District responded to the Target store located at <strong>6717 Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie</strong> for a theft suspect who returned to the store.</p>
<p>This same suspect was in the store on previous occasions when he purchased nearly $17,000 worth of gift cards using possibly over 100 suspected cloned credit cards. The Loss Prevention Officer immediately recognized the suspect when he returned to the store and called police.</p>
<p>Northern patrol officers and district detectives responded to the Target store and detained the suspect. He possessed two fraudulent credit cards and had just used them in order to purchase several more Target gift cards. The suspect was placed under arrest and charged with several financial crimes.</p>
<p>At this time, the police department has reason to believe there are many more unidentified victims who have recently had their credit card accounts fraudulently used by this suspect. He has also possibly committed similar crimes at the Target store located at 7951 Nolpark Court in Glen Burnie.
