<p>JOPPA, MD. -08/01/2014&#8211; The Volunteers from the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company (JMVFC) have been busy this morning.</p>

<div>The first call woke the men and women at <span class="aBn" tabindex="0" data-term="goog_304505924"><span class="aQJ">5:39 am</span></span>. A motor vehicle collision with person trapped was reported on SRT-7/Philadelphia Road at Fashion Way in Joppa. Upon arrival, Firefighters and Paramedics found a two vehicle collision in the intersection with one person trapped. The seriously injured 20 year old female was rapidly extricated and turned over to the care of JMVFC Paramedics. She was transported by JMVFC paramedic unit to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. Another patient refused transport to the hospital. Maryland State Police Troopers are investigating the cause of the collision. Philadelphia Road was closed for an unknown amount of time.</div>

<p>After getting a cup of coffee and some breakfast, the alert bells at the JMVFC sounded again. This time a motor vehicle collision was reported on northbound I-95 between exits 74 &; 77, Joppa. When they arrived, Firefighters and Paramedics found a two vehicle collision, one of which had struck the jersey wall. All patients refused transport to the hospital. Maryland State Police Troopers are investigating the cause of the collision. The left lane of I-95 was blocked for an unknown amount of time.</p>

<p>At <span class="aBn" tabindex="0" data-term="goog_304505925"><span class="aQJ">9:48 am</span></span> came the third call for the JMVFC. This was a motor vehicle collision in the 2700 block of Old Joppa Road, Joppa. Firefighters and Paramedics arrived to find a single box truck in a ditch. The driver was out of the vehicle and refused transport to a hospital. The Harford County Emergency Operations Hazardous Materials Team was requested to evaluate the truck for any leaks and to oversee its uprighting. The Harford County Sheriff&#8217;s Office is investigating the collision. Old Joppa Road was blocked between the I-95 bridge and Franklinville Road for an unknown amount of time.</p>
