Lucky for him, she didn’t shoot first and then call 9-1-1.
Annapolis, Md. — Anne Arundel County Police report that on July 30, 2014, at approximately 2:20 a.m., officers from Eastern District responded to the 1200 block of Hilltop Drive in Annapolis for the report of a burglary in progress.
Upon arrival, responding officers located an adult male passed out at the front door to the residence. Officers were quickly able to determine that the suspect was extremely intoxicated. Officers interviewed the homeowner who reported that she was awakened by noises at the front door to her residence.
She went to investigate and saw this same suspect attempting to get into the front door of her home. The suspect was not able to completely make entry into the residence.
The suspect was taken into custody. During an interview, it was learned that the suspect thought that he was at a residence on a neighboring street. Because of his intoxicated state, he was unaware that he was at the incorrect residence. The suspect was charged with Attempted Burglary, Disorderly Conduct and Disturbing the Peace.
