<p>QUEENSTOWN, MD. &#8212; Queen Anne Sheriff’s deputies report on June 11, 2014, that they received several reports from citizens who said that they had located a young child who was dirty, barefoot and in dressed only in underwear, carrying a doll walking alone near the Post Office on Main Street. Deputies arrived and contacted EMS to check the child’s condition. Medics decided to transport the child to the Emergency Room for a thorough screening.</p>
<p>Police say that their investigation determined the parent of the four-year-old child had walked to a nearby store and left the child in the care of a friend. Apparently the child was able to leave the house on Aker Road without anyone knowing. The mother responded to the Emergency Room and Social Services was contacted and they requested the child be released to the mother and they would follow-up on the incident. Dfc. <h1><span style="font-size: 14pt;">The Squirrels Gathering Nuts for Winter</span></h1>
<p>STEVENSVILLE, MD. Queen Anne Sheriff’s Deputy Chris Ahearn took a report from Tina Wright of Stevensville that some unknown dirtbag waltzed away with her wood stove which had been placed on a walkway of her home, likely for spring cleaning. Police report the victim reported that the theft took place sometime between June 9th and June 12th. The stove was valued at $800.</p>
<h1><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Sign Collectors Snared Pricy Souvenir</span></h1>
<p>CENTERVILLE, MD. Perhaps some local heathen couldn’t bear to be without a daily reminder of school days during summer vacation. According to the Queen Anne County Sheriff’s Department, an unknown person had stolen the Gunston Day School’s sign sometime on June 13<sup>th</sup>. The sign was valued at $750. Dfc. Jessica Kellogg is investigating.</p>
<h1><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Skateboards Purloined</span></h1>
<p>STEVENSVILLLE, MD. &#8212; What do Jack &; Jill and Sector 9 have in common? They are both brands of skateboards. Queen Anne County Deputy Rudy Draper reports that Catherine Felker reported the theft of two “Longboard” type skateboards from her yard on Bay City Road on June 13th. One was described as a Sector 9 Black &; Blue longboard valued at $300 and a white Odwalla Jack &; Jill Ice Cream Board valued at $150. Victim advised she was gone for a couple of days and upon returning the skateboards were gone.</p>
<h1><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Craigslist buyer attempted to fleece owner of motorcycle; violent chase resulted</span></h1>
<p>GRASONVILLE, MD. – Queen Anne Deputy Sheriff Mitch Jones reports that Justin E. Edwards of Narina Drive in Grasonville was the latest victim of a Craigslist Criminal.</p>
<p>The police say that the victim reported that he had made arrangements to sell a motorcycle after listing it on Craigslist. The buyer came to his residence and made the deal. The victim states when he was getting the paperwork, the buyer took the cash and fled on the motorcycle. The victim gave chase in his passenger car and while on Grasonville Cemetery Road, reports being rammed by another vehicle twice causing him to end up in a ditch. The suspect on the motorcycle lost control of the bike and left it near a field.</p>
<p>The suspect (Buyer) was described as an African-American male using the name of Orlando Billings and had numerous tattoos. The vehicle that rammed him was a tan Chevrolet Lumina driven by a dark skinned male. Investigation of the incident remains open.</p>
<h1><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Dirtbags too cheap to buy their own nature signs</span></h1>
<p>GRASONVILLE, MD. &#8212; Queen Anne Sheriff’s Deputy Brad Martz reports that employee at the Cheapeake Bay Environmental Center reported two small signs had been removed from a wooden post. One sign had a blue crab displayed and the second sign had a green turtle. The signs were valued at $200 and believed to have been taken on June 16<sup>th</sup> during the day.</p>
<h1> <span style="font-size: 14pt;">Cold Air is Free for Alleged Shoplifter</span></h1>
<p>STEVENSVILLE, MD. According to the Queen Anne County Sheriff’s Office, K-Mart Store Security on June 17, 2014 observed Steven Francis Buchanan, 27, of Centreville, Md. load a Kenmore 5K air conditioner with a retail price of $120 into a shopping cart and then exit the store without attempting to pay for it. He was stopped in the parking lot and was returned to the store. Dfc. Charles Harris responded and placed him under arrest. After processing at Headquarters, Buchanan was held on a $5000 bail.</p>
<h1><span style="font-size: 14pt;">The Bong Boys of Cordova Community Park</span></h1>
<p>Cordova, Md. – According to Talbot County Sheriff Dallas Pope, on June 12, 2014, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff&#8217;s Office responded to the Cordova Country Park in reference to suspicious activity.</p>
<p>Upon arrival Deputies located several individuals and a burgundy Dodge pickup truck parked in the area. While attempting to identify the individuals, a 17 year old male identified himself as the vehicle operator.</p>
<p>While retrieving his identification, Deputies noted the odor of burning marijuana in the vehicle and a search was conducted. The Deputies located a large glass smoking device and an amount of marijuana in the vehicle which the juvenile and Brandon Anthony Ciallella, 20 of Cordova, MD admitted owning.</p>
<p>The juvenile was referred to juvenile services and released to his father. Ciallella was arrested, processed and released after signing a criminal citation. Both were charged with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. <strong>Bradley Charged with Assault </strong> Easton, Md. – Police report that on June 13, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff&#8217;s Office were called to the 8000 block of Swann Haven Road for a domestic assault. Contact was made with Crystal Lynn Robertson, 42 of Easton, MD who advised she had been assaulted by her live in boyfriend, Bruce Douglas Bradley, 43 of Easton, MD.</p>
<p>Robertson had injuries consistent with an assault and was escorted to the District Court Commissioner who issued an arrest warrant and a protective order. Deputies were able to locate and arrest Bradley without incident. Bradley was processed and taken before a District Court Commissioner who ordered him held on a $15,000.00 bond.</p>
<p><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Gateway Drugs on Ocean Gateway</span> </strong></p>
<p>Easton, Md. – Talbot Sheriff Dallas Pope reports that on June 13, Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff&#8217;s Office stopped a black Honda Civic for traffic violations on Ocean Gateway near Rabbit Hill Road. Upon contact with the operator, Adam Jacob Greenbaum, 29, of Forest Hills, NY, the Deputy detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.</p>
<p>The operator and a passenger, Jeanne Marie Romano, 24, of Manhattan, NY, were asked to exit the vehicle and a search of the vehicle was completed. Located within the center console was a small baggie of marijuana and a small glass smoking device. Greenbaum and Romano were charged with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia, being released on criminal citations. Greenbaum was also charged on a traffic citation with failing to make lane change for emergency vehicle.</p>
