DNR Regional Service Centers Will Be Closed Friday Did you forget to order your boat stickers yet and were planning to go by a DNR service center to pick them up on Friday so you would be legal for the holiday weekend? The O’Malley Administration, in a clear swipe at the public they are supposed to be serving picked FRIDAY — the day before the Memorial Day weekend, to close the service centers for a SERVICE REDUCTION DAY…. in spite of hiking every damn tax and fee that exists over the past 8 years. Anyone who knows the Governor’s cell phone number, send it in, we’ll be glad to publish it. DNR Parks and Lands will Remain Open All Maryland Department of Natural Resources offices will be closed Friday, May 23 for a Service Reduction Day. This includes regional service centers, which are historically busy on the Friday before Memorial Day weekend. DNR asks all boaters to plan accordingly, and register their boats early. Anglers can purchase fishing licenses online 24/7 at dnr.state.md.us/service/license.asp or by phone at 1-855-855-3906. Maryland State Parks and other public lands managed by DNR will remain staffed and open to the public. For more information on State Parks visit dnr.maryland.gov/publiclands/.
