</div>LEXINGTON PARK, MD. – Fun times in Sin City continued this past week with an armed robber running wild and St. Mary’s Sheriff Tim Cameron focusing more of his attention on his deputies who shot at occupied homes in Wildewood than on catching crooks. The Sheriff’s Department reports that between May 9<sup>th</sup> and 10<sup>th</sup> three armed robberies occurred in the parking lot of commercial businesses, (hotels and restaurants), in the Lexington Park and California area. During the robberies, the suspect approached the victims, produced a handgun and demanded valuables. The suspect is described as a black male, early to mid-30’s, approximately 5’10”- 6’00”, medium build, dark complexion, thin style beard, and wearing a black jacket.<br />
<strong>Burger King Beat Down</strong></p>

<p>Police say that on May 13, 2014, Deputy Phelan made contact with the victim at Medstar St. Mary’s Hospital regarding an assault. The victim alleged to police that Darnell Anthony Brice, 36, of Lexington Park, beat the victim about the face, head, and neck with his fists, after they met in the parking lot of Burger King in Lexington Park at approximately 1:30 AM the same day.<br />
Brice was allegedly intoxicated and high on drugs and began to argue with the victim. Police say that Brice struck the victim to the point the victim began to vomit. He then attempted to pull the victim from the vehicle by the victim’s hair and punched the victim in the ribs repeatedly.<br />
Deputy Phelan observed several substantial injuries on the victim consistent with what the victim reported had occurred. The victim&#8217;s injuries were not life threatening.<br />
The victim further reported an earlier assault, which occurred on May 5, 2014. During this earlier assault, Brice allegedly attempted to strangle the victim with his hands and then drug the victim down the hallway by the victim’s hair. Deputy Phelan located Brice and placed him under arrest. He was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and charged with 1st and 2nd Degree Assault.</p>

</span></strong>CALIFORNIA, MD. – St. Mary’s Sheriff deputies report that on May 12, 2014, Deputy Wesner responded to the Walmart in California, for a reported theft. Loss prevention personnel reported suspect, Jennafer Margaret Dvorak, 24, of Lexington Park, concealed clothing items in her handbag. She then attempted to exit the store without paying. The value of the merchandise was over $35.00. Dvorak was charged with Theft Under $100.00 by criminal citation.</p>

</span></strong>LEONARDTOWN, MD.– Police report that on May 12, 2014, st. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Deputy Schultz responded to a residence in the 22000 block of Point Lookout Road in Leonardtown, for a reported disturbance. On arrival, Deputy Schultz spoke with the complainant, Gary Lynn Meyer, 37, of Leonardtown. While speaking with Meyer, Deputy Schultz observed several items inside the Meyer’s residence commonly used to smoke marijuana. The items further contained suspected marijuana residue. The investigation revealed the paraphernalia belonged to Meyer. Meyer was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center. He was charged with 6 COUNTS of Possession Controlled Dangerous Substance and Possession CDS – Marijuana.<br />

<p>THEFT – On May 12, 2014, Deputy Shane Cameron responded to the Walmart in California, for a reported theft. Loss prevention personnel reported suspect <strong>Danielle Elizabeth Graves-Moore</strong>, 19, of Lexington Park, concealed items of merchandise in her handbag and attempted to leave the store without paying. Graves-Moore was charged with Theft under $1,000 by criminal citation.</p>

<p><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">Big Screen Mama Needs a Different Getaway Driver<br />
</span></strong>CALIFORNIA, MD. St. Mary’s Sheriff’s Deputies report that on May 13, 2014, Corporal Moritz responded to the Walmart in California, for a reported theft. Loss prevention personnel reported <strong>Agnes Leeann Farrell</strong>, 21, of Leonardtown, allegedly loaded a 55 inch television set into a shopping cart.<br />
Farrell then left the store without paying for the television, say police. As Walmart’s loss prevention personnel attempted to stop Farrell, she left the shopping cart and got into a vehicle. The driver of the vehicle, (friend of Farrell), refused to leave and Farrell was apprehended.<br />
The value of the television set was over $780.00. Farrell was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center and was charged with Theft.<br />
