BROOKLYN PARK, MD. — According to the Anne Arundel County Police, tops from citizens aided them in rounding up another alleged Dirtbag.  Here is their report:
Remember the below bad guy who attempted to brazenly rob a 7-Eleven in #BrooklynPark and then shot the clerk with a BB gun? Well, he got caught! Great work by citizens and police.
On March 30, 2014, at approximately 5:08 a.m., officers responded to the 7-Eleven store located in the 4000 block of Ritchie Highway in Brooklyn Park for a report of an attempted armed robbery that had just occurred.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with the clerk who reported that a male suspect displayed a weapon and demanded U. S. currency from the business. The suspect shot the clerk with what was determined to be a BB gun. The suspect then fled without any property and was last observed on foot towards Belle Grove Road. Several officers to include a K-9 Unit responded to search the area for the suspect, but were unable to locate him. Anne Arundel County Fire Department personnel responded to treat the clerk’s injuries.  The clerk was subsequently transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
