<p>April 5&comma; 1919 &&num;8211&semi; August 24&comma; 2013 Visitation&colon; Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home&comma; P&period;A&period;&comma; Charlotte Hall&comma; MD Friday&comma; August 30&comma; 2013 5&colon;00 PM &&num;8211&semi; 7&colon;00 PM Life Celebration Services&colon; Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home&comma; P&period;A&period;&comma; Charlotte Hall&comma; MD Friday&comma; August 30&comma; 2013 7&colon;00 PM Funeral Service Cemetery Services&colon; Arlington National Cemetery at a later date Nancy Bell Hardesty&comma; 94&comma; of Mechanicsville&comma; MD&comma; passed away at NMS Healthcare in Annapolis&comma; MD on August 23&comma; 2013&period; Born April 5&comma; 1919&comma; she was the daughter of Andrew Cerrell Beamer and Lena Josephine Elmore Beamer&period; Nancy lived in the Washington&comma; DC area before marrying her first husband&comma; Malvern E&period; Hannum&comma; US Army&comma; in 1937&period; They settled in Colorado&period; After his death in 1941&comma; she moved back to DC&comma; becoming employed at the Washington Navy Yard&period; In August of 1945&comma; she married her second husband&comma; Wayne W&period; Hardesty&comma; who preceded her in death in February of 1987&period; She was also preceded in death by her daughters Annetta Dunlap&comma; and Bonnie Haley as well as Great Grandson David Krankowski&period; After moving to Southern Maryland&comma; Nancy became a homemaker whose main love was her family-children&comma; grandchildren and great-grandchildren&period; Nancy is survived by her sons&comma; Robert Hardesty&comma; of Mechanicsville&comma; MD&comma; and Malvern Hannum&comma; of Bossier City&comma; LA&semi; daughters Deborah Myers&comma; of Waldorf&comma; MD&comma; and Tammy Farmer&comma; of Lexington Park&comma; MD&semi; brothers Alvin Beamer&comma; of San Diego&comma; CA and Wallace &&num;8220&semi;Tee&&num;8221&semi; Beamer of Odessa&comma; FL&comma; as well as 14 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren&period; Arrangements&colon; To be held at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home&comma;30195 Three Notch Road&comma; Charlotte Hall&comma; MD &lpar;301&rpar;472-4400&semi; Viewing at 5pm on Friday&comma; August 30&comma;2013 with service to follow at 7pm&comma; same day&period; Interment will follow at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery&period; The family has requested that&comma; in lieu of flowers&comma; donations be made in Nancy&&num;8217&semi;s name to St&period; Jude Children&&num;8217&semi;s Research Hospital&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine;<a href&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;the-chesapeake&period;com&sol;&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2013&sol;08&sol;Nancy-Bell-Hardesty-obit&period;jpg"><img src&equals;"https&colon;&sol;&sol;www&period;the-chesapeake&period;com&sol;&sol;wp-content&sol;uploads&sol;2013&sol;08&sol;Nancy-Bell-Hardesty-obit-150x150&period;jpg" alt&equals;"" title&equals;"Nancy Bell Hardesty obit" width&equals;"150" height&equals;"150" class&equals;"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-1850" &sol;><&sol;a><&sol;p>&NewLine;
