So. Md. Police Beat: Purple Drank Charges for Christopher Smith; 3 others indicted; charges dumped by PG Prosecutor Angela Alsobrooks

LEONARDTOWN, MD. — Christopher Andrew Smith, 25, of Laurel, was on his way out of a St. Mary’s County drugstore with some Purple Drank when narco cops pounced on him, reports St. Mary’s Vice and Narco Commander Capt. Daniel Alioto. Alioto reports that Detectives continue to investigate prescription fraud incidents involving a group of individuals attempting to obtain “Promethazine-Codeine” known on the street as “Purple Drank”. A series of arrests involving the popular narcotics have been made in the past year.

Also Alsobrooks dumped charges of theft, removal of property, carrying a handgun and possession of drugs on Jan. 22, 2015. These dropped charges are indicative that Fogg dropped the dime on some of his drug-dealing pals to police in order to escape charges which would have netted him at least ten years in prison. This possibility would be an excellent motive for murder.

Murder USA: former murder suspect Pierre Rafael Edwards shot dead in Glenarden in broad daylight

Prince Georges Police report that Edwards joined the ranks of the recently dead on May 30, 2015, at about 5:00 pm. Police patrol officers with the Glenarden and Prince George’s County Police Departments were called to the 2800 block of Hornbeam Court for the report of a shooting. When they arrived, they found Edwards outside suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
