SALISBURY, MD. — Wicomico County Sheriff Mike Lewis reports that instead of shooting her boyfriend, a Salisbury woman simply shot her rifle into the air, saving the medical examiner extra work.
Police say that on Jan. 20, 2015 at 11:30 PM deputies responded for the report of a subject firing a weapon in a yard in the 3000 block of Devonshire Drive in Salisbury. Upon arrival, they learned that Donna Haddock, 45, of Salisbury, had become upset with her boyfriend at which point she went into the back yard and allegedly discharged a rifle into the air multiple times. The other residents of the house took shelter inside until the arrival of law enforcement. This incident caused a significant disturbance in the neighborhood as well.
