Upon their arrival to the scene, officers from the Berlin Police Department and emergency medical service personnel pronounced Ada dead at the scene from an apparent gunshot wound. Police found Lester on the floor with what also appeared to be gunshot wounds. He immediately received medical treatment and was transported by ambulance to Peninsula Regional Medical Center where he later succumbed to his injuries.

When they arrived, troopers contacted the second victim who advised he had been assaulted with a blunt object. Troopers and officers continued to check the residence and found Donald Mariner injured. Emergency medical personnel were immediately requested. Once on the scene, medical personnel attempted to treat both victims. Mariner was pronounced dead by medical personnel, while the second victim was transported to Peninsula Regional Medical Center for further medical treatment.

During this incident at least one FBI agent fired his weapon at a subject. The subject, an adult male, is deceased. A Baltimore County Police officer was with the FBI agents
Anne Arundel County and the Baltimore FBI Violent Crimes Task Force have charged Tony Derrell Bunch (date of birth: August 1, 1982) with robbery at the Bay Bank branch at 2637 Annapolis Road in Hanover, Maryland. Investigators say Bunch is responsible for seven other robberies in the region listed below. They are offering a reward of up to $3,000 for information leading to Bunch’s arrest.
Morgan previously admitted that in August 2013, he attempted to hire members of the KKK to murder his neighbor. According to Morgan’s plea agreement, on August 22, 2013, Morgan spoke on the phone with an undercover FBI agent who identified himself as a KKK member. The men arranged to meet three days later at an Oxford, Alabama motel to discuss payment for the murder. In that phone conversation, Morgan used a racial slur to describe the man he wanted killed and bragged that he had just fired several shots toward the man to intimidate him. Morgan also described, in detail, how he wanted the man to be “hung from a tree like a deer and gutted,” to have body parts cut off, and to “die a slow, painful death.”
Investigators from the Maryland State Police Criminal Enforcement Command have developed a possible link between the sexual assault that occurred in the Walkersville Community Park on April 6, 2014 and another sexual assault which occurred in the same park on November 10 of last year. The victim in the earlier incident has been contacted and confirms a similar description of the suspect
Corporal Connelly then searched Woodburn and found a smoking device containing suspected marijuana residue. During a search of Woodburn’s vehicle, four (4) firearms were located.
One of the firearms appeared to be a long gun modified to appear and function as a handgun.
Hines was in Circuit Court and as he went to exit, Deputies attempted to detain him. Hines fled the courthouse with several deputies in pursuit. With the assistance of Centreville Police, Hines was taken into custody in between a nearby convenience store and the Alcohol & Drug Abuse Center.
