<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">PIKESVILLE, MD. &#8212; Maryland State Police report an incident of road rage on the Washington Beltway, not far from where a motorist was murdered while driving on the Interstate that loops around the nation’s capital.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Police say that on July 9, 2017, at approximately 11:30 am, Troopers from Maryland State Police Golden Ring Barrack responded to the area of Interstate 695 and Interstate 83 in Baltimore County in an attempt to locate a Mitsubishi Lancer with a Pennsylvania registration, which was wanted in connection with a road rage incident. According to a 911 caller, an occupant of the Mitsubishi was alleged to have pointed a handgun at another vehicle during a road rage incident on Interstate 495 and Interstate 95, in Montgomery and Prince Georges Counties.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Troopers intercepted the Mitsubishi and made an investigative traffic stop at Interstate 83 at Warren Road. During the course of the investigation, Troopers recovered a loaded, .45 caliber, semi-automatic pistol, additional magazines, and 30 rounds of ammunition for the firearm. Also recovered were a loaded, .22 caliber semi-automatic pistol and 100 rounds of ammunition for the firearm. Marijuana was also recovered from the vehicle.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Arrested were: Eric Alfredo Arroyo, 26, of2054 Sue Ellen Court, Apopka, Florida, and Courtney Leigh Fisher, 25, of 81 Red Mill Road, Apt. C., Etters Pennsylvania.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">A two-year-old child who was in the Mitsubishi was not harmed during the incident and was turned over to the care of the family.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Both suspects were charged with multiple counts of unlawful possession of a firearm in a vehicle and civil possession of marijuana. Both suspects were held without bail.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Additional charges may be forthcoming, pending further investigation and consultation with the Baltimore County States Attorney’s Office.
