MURDER USA Dover Police charged Darren Weiford with homicide in motel slaying

DOVER, DEL. — The Dover Police report that Darren Weiford, 21, has been charged with the murder of Amber Buckler, a 20-year-old woman from the Dover area.

Officers responded to the First State Inn after being called to the motel at 11:28 AM on Thursday, June 1st. Buckler was found deceased in a motel room from a single gunshot wound to the upper body. Weiford was arrested at the scene without incident and was committed to JTVCC in default of $1,180,000.00 Cash Bond for 1st Degree Murder and Possession of a Firearm During Commission of a Felony.
