<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">FREDERICKSBURG, VA. &#8212; Just two blocks the historic battlefields which saw Americans kill each other by the thousands during the Civil War, another uncivil war over a property line ended in death.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Sheriff Roger L. Harris announced the arrest of Larry Keith Johnston, 80, of Spotsylvania County, charging him with 1st Degree Murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">On 05/21/17, Deputies responded to the 7200 block of Young Lane in reference to a shooting. Deputies located the 65-year-old homeowner lying in the driveway of his residence. The victim had succumbed to a single gunshot wound to the chest. Johnston was taken into custody after deputies located him at his neighboring residence.</span></p>
