<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Andre Thomas tried to murder a victim, say Baltimore Police, but, so far, his shooting victim is still alive. Police say that on January 17, 2017, Warrant Apprehension Detectives arrested 29-year-old Andre Lamar Thomas, of 1001Kevin Road, for the shooting that occurred on January 1, 2017, in the 300 block of South Beechfield Avenue.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><a href="https://www.the-chesapeake.com//2014/03/25/dellando-recardo-campbell-indicted-for-role-in-kent-county-murder/murder-usa/" rel="attachment wp-att-3285"><img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-3285" src="https://www.the-chesapeake.com//wp-content/uploads/2014/03/MURDER-USA-253x300.jpg" alt="" width="253" height="300" /></a>Andre Thomas was transported to Central Booking where he has been charged with attempted first-degree murder.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">On January 1, 2017, at approximately 5:25 p.m., officers were called to the 4700 block of Frederick Avenue for a report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found an adult male with a gunshot wound to his stomach. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Detectives from the Citywide Shooting Unit were called to the scene to investigate this incident. Detectives believe the victim was in the 300 block of S. Beechfield Avenue when an unknown suspect shot him. Anyone with information is asked to call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7lockup.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Thomas was set for a preliminary hearing on Feb. 16, 2017, in Baltimore City District Court. He faces sixteen counts of criminal charges ranging from attempted murder, reckless endangerment, kidnapping, armed robbery and carjacking, felon in possession of firearm and use of a firearm in a violent crime. Thomas will have the taxpayers providing him with an attorney for his newest adventure in the Alice in Wonderland of the Maryland Court system.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">As of Jan. 18, 2017, he has not yet been released from jail on personal recognizance, but if Maryland’s kooky liberals have their way, he will soon be as free as a bird.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Court records show that Thomas appealed a Baltimore City District Court decision on his charges of domestic violence from March 13, 2014, and the hearing was held in Circuit Court on March 25, 2014.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Shatiera Tyiesh Gilmore sought custody of a child in Circuit Court on July 28, 2013. She was attempting to verify “…income and benefits from all sources.”</span></p>
