<h2>MURDER USA: Brittley Brown and Brian Johns Arrested for Murder of 1-year-old Baby</h2>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">BALTIMORE, MD. &#8212; On the mean streets of Baltimore where life is cheap on any day, committing murder is even more ruthless when the victim dies from a brutal beating administered by his own parents. According to the medical examiner, contributing causes were due to being starved to death.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Baltimore Police reports that on November 21, 2016, Warrant Apprehension detectives arrested 30-year-old Brian Alexander Johns and 26-year-old Brittley Brown of 2609 Shirley Avenue, Baltimore, Md., for the murder of infant on August 30, 2016.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Police say that Brian Johns and Brittley Jackie Brown were both arrested and charged with second-degree murder of 1-year-old Jayden Johnson.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The autopsy of Jayden Johnson revealed that the cause of death was due to malnutrition, dehydration, and blunt force trauma.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">On August 30, 2016, at approximately 5:52 a.m., Northwest District patrol officers responded to the 2600 block of Shirley Avenue for a report of a child not breathing.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Upon officer’s arrival to the location, they observed Baltimore City medics performing CPR on the infant.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The victim was transported to Sinai Hospital where despite the best efforts of doctors he was pronounced dead.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Brian Johns was charged with neglect of a minor, reckless endangerment, second-degree assault, second-degree child abuse, first-degree assault, conspiracy to commit child abuse resulting in death, second-degree murder. He faces a preliminary hearing on Dec. 15, 2016, in Baltimore District Court.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">At five-foot-seven-inches and weighing 149 pounds, Brian Johns will be a cellblock cutie when inmates find out he beat a baby to death. Even hardened criminals have certain standards.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Brian Johns entered a guilty plea to possession of bulletproof armor when he was charged with impersonating a police officer while carrying a concealed deadly weapon. In a plea deal in Baltimore City Circuit Court Baltimore City States Attorney Mosby, on June 30, 2015, he was sentenced to four years in prison with three years, nine months and 23 days suspended. The rest of the sentence was put on probation. Johns was represented by a taxpayer-provided defense attorney. Johns soon violated the terms of probation and was arrested again.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Johns entered a guilty plea in a deal in Baltimore City Circuit Court on April 29, 2008, to first-degree assault and picked up a four-year stretch in prison.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Brown was charged by Baltimore Police Officer Eric T. Ragland with the same charges as Johns and also is set to appear for an preliminary hearing on Dec. 15, 2016. As of Nov. 22, 2016, she remains behind bars.</span></p>
