<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">GAITHERSBURG, MD. – What a wonderful idea it was for Montgomery County’s liberal politicians to decide to be a Sanctuary County and allow criminal illegal aliens to reside in that suburban county. Now the police report a third arrest in a brutal slaying with a MS13 gangbanger charged with the June murder in a Gaithersburg park.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Police say that Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD)-Major Crimes Division have arrested a third suspect wanted for the homicide of 18-year-old Cristian Antonio Villagran-Morales that occurred in the Malcolm King Park located at 1200 West Side Drive in Gaithersburg and that was discovered on June 17, 2016. Oscar Ernesto Delgado-Perez, age 27, was arrested on Sept. 9, 2016, by Montgomery County Police officers. Court records indicate that his address is unknown.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">On June 30, warrants were issued for four suspects who were involved in the first-degree murder of Villagran-Morales. Two of these suspects, Juan Gutierrez-Vasquez, age 16, of Queen Victoria Court in Gaithersburg and Vanesa Alvarado, 19, of 22880 Whelan Lane, in Gaithersburg, were both arrested on July 1 in Gaithersburg. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Court records show that Alvarado was indicted on July 28, 2016. Alvarado entered a not guilty plea. She entered a guilty plea to a drug paraphernalia charge in Montgomery County District Court on July 8, 2016. A drug possession charge was put on the Stet Docket in District Court.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Gutierrez-Vasquez has been charged as an adult. At that time, the Department announced that there were two additional suspects wanted for the murder: Oscar Ernesto Delgado-Perez and Jose Coreas Ventura, also known as Josue Corea, 20, of an unknown address. Detectives continued to seek information on the wanted suspects’ whereabouts. Through investigation, it was determined that Delgado-Perez was at the Red Roof Inn (located at 16001 Shady Grove Road) and MCPD officers arrested him there. He told police he would have gotten away if he hadn’t been drinking the night before.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Detectives consider this homicide to be gang-related; All four suspects are believed to be associated with the criminal gang MS-13, and Alvarado and Gutierrez-Vasquez, upon their arrest, stated to detectives that they believed the victim to be a member of a rival gang.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">During this murder investigation, detectives determined that the victim had recently met Alvarado and that the two had been communicating via telephone. Further investigation revealed that on the night of June 16, the victim planned to meet Alvarado. Detectives believe that the victim met Alvarado that evening in an anticipation of a sexual encounter. Alvarado then lured the victim to the wooded area of the park, where he was stabbed multiple times by the suspects. When Alvarado and Gutierrez-Vasquez were questioned by investigators after their arrest, both suspects made admissions regarding their involvement in the homicide.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Detectives continue to seek information on the whereabouts of the wanted suspect, Jose Coreas Ventura, also known as Josue Corea, 20, and ask that anyone with information immediately call the Montgomery County Police Department at 301-279-8000 (24/7 line). Jose Coreas Ventura should be considered armed and dangerous.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Police say that Gutierrez-Vasquez is a juvenile and therefore his mugshot was not released.</span></p>
<h2>Montgomery County Officials Reassured Criminals that<br />
Cops Would Not Work with ICE Roundup</h2>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Montgomery County Executive Ike Leggett and the County Council on Monday said county police “will play no role” in a federal government operation to deport recent illegal immigrants from El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Mexico.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Leggett and the nine-member council released a lengthy statement on the issue amid fears in local Hispanic communities that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids, such as the nationwide operation over New Year’s Day weekend, could happen in schools, supermarkets or other public places in the county.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">“People are in panic mode,” said Nestor Alvarenga, the county’s liaison to the Latino community. “There have been rumors here and there in Wheaton and Aspen Hill and Langley Park. Parents are afraid and we’ve had parent coordinators and principals notice students who haven’t come to school. We’re trying to tell people to calm down. ICE to this day hasn’t gone into a school, so hopefully, it stays that way.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Alvarenga said the county has closely monitored the situation since Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson announced Jan. 4 that ICE took 121 individuals into custody for deportation over New Year’s Day weekend.</span></p>
