<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">TEMPLE HILLS, MD. – Another day, another murder or two. The Prince George’s County Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting in Temple Hills. The victim is 20-year-old K’Shon Jerome Johnson of South View Drive in Oxon Hill. Police report that preliminarily, detectives do not believe this was a random act. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">On March 23, 2016, at about 9:20 pm, patrol officers were called to the 3800 block of 28th Avenue for a shooting. When they arrived, they found Johnson outside in a parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead </span>on<span style="font-size: 12pt;"> the scene.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Detectives are working to identify the suspect(s) and establish a motive.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">FORESTVILLE, MD. &#8212; A convicted drug dealer was shot dead and set on fire on March 23, 2016, reports the PG County Police Department.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating a homicide in Forestville. The victim is 32-year-old Rashaad Garnett Tate of 28th Street SE in Washington, DC. Preliminarily, detectives do not believe this was a random act. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.</span></p>

The victim was later identified as Tate.</span></p>

Tate attempted to circumvent his prison sentence by an appeal and was turned down by the higher court on Nov. 18, 2009. Tate might still be alive had he been sentenced to a long stretch in prison. Or not.</span></p>
