<h2>Afternoon double shooting in Annapolis; suspect nabbed,<br />
1 victim shot in face, 2<sup>nd</sup> victim caught a ride to ER</h2>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">ANNAPOLIS, MD. – Annapolis Police report that the local population is attempting to keep up with their killing cousins in Baltimore and P.G. (Pretty Gory) County. The shooter, who has not yet been identified by police but is in custody, almost accomplished what Anne Arundel County Prosecutors have not been able to do; take two bad guys off the streets.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Police say that on Friday, November 27, 2015, at 2:28 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 1800 block of Copeland Street for a report of shots fired. When officers arrived, they located a victim with a gunshot wound to the face. The victim was flown to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma via Maryland State Police. The victim has been identified as Traymont Wiley of 1822 Copeland Street, Annapolis, Md.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">At approximately 2:50 p.m., as officers were working the scene in the 1800 block of Copeland Street, the Annapolis Police Department received numerous calls for shots fired in the 1300 block of Tyler Ave. Additional calls provided a description of the suspect and that he was running in the Robinwood community. A police sergeant and an Annapolis Fire Marshall encountered the suspect and ordered him to the ground. The suspect complied and was taken into custody.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The second victim was transported to the hospital by a family member. The victim is identified as Corey Holland of 1338 Tyler Avenue, Annapolis, Md. Holland received a gunshot wound to his abdomen.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Holland was charged with theft in Anne Arundel District Court on Aug. 4, 2015, and was represented by a public defender, paid for by taxpayers. On Nov. 24, 2015, Anne Arundel States Attorney Wes Adams dropped the charges.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">On Nov. 5, 2013, Holland entered a guilty plea to attempted armed robbery in Anne Arundel County Circuit Court. A plea deal with the prosecutor allowed for credit of 72 days of time served; jail for 18 months and three years on probation.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Holland was charged with attempted first-degree murder and handgun violations in 2009 and the charges were dropped by the Anne Arundel States Attorney.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">On Oct. 20, 2006, Holland was charged with burglary and on Aug. 28, 2007, he entered a guilty plea in Anne Arundel District Court. He was given three years in jail with one year, nine months and 158 hours suspended along with credit for time served.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Wiley was indicted for drug dealing from an incident which took place on Jan. 10, 2012. In a plea deal with the Anne Arundel County States Attorney on March 10, 2014, three charges were dropped and Wiley entered an Alford Plea, which indicate he and his mouthpiece both realized the prosecutor had plenty to convict him and put him in the slammer. The deal gave him probation before judgment and immediate parole. Wiley has assessed court costs of $45 which are pretty easy to pay when selling drugs. Other drug charges in 2009 were dropped by the States Attorney.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The suspect is in custody and criminal charges are pending.</span></p>
