<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The latest armed robbery took place when a chubby robber with his head covered with a bandanna and walking with a limp robbed a clerk at knife-point.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Police say on June 13, 2015, at 4:04 AM, a white male suspect entered the 7-Eleven located in the median on Three Notch Road, in Mechanicsville and armed with a knife. The suspect encountered the clerk and demanded money from the register. The clerk complied and the suspect fled out of the store.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><a href="https://www.the-chesapeake.com//wp-content/uploads/2014/05/Crime-Report.jpg"><img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-3912" src="https://www.the-chesapeake.com//wp-content/uploads/2014/05/Crime-Report-252x300.jpg" alt="Crime Report" width="252" height="300" /></a>The suspect was seen entering a silver, possibly Dodge Ram truck.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The suspect was described as being approximately 5&#8217;10&#8221; to 6&#8217;00&#8221; in height, with a chubby build, and walking with a limp. He was wearing blue jeans, a black long sleeved shirt, a blue bandanna covering the crown of his head, and a red bandanna covering the lower portion of his face.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Deputies responded to the scene and conducted an extensive search of the area for the suspect with negative results. Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division responded and assumed the investigation. The investigation is ongoing at the time of the publishing of this press release.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Detectives are asking for the witness, who provided first responding deputies with information to please contact the Sheriff&#8217;s Office Duty Officer as soon as possible at 301.475.4040 or Detective Cory Ellis as 301.475.4200 x 9125.</span></p>
